UNFORGETTABLE: Cade Cunningham LEADS Detroit Pistons in Once-in-a-Lifetime NBA Thriller

Detroit Pistons pull off an unforgettable comeback win against the Washington Wizards as Cade Cunningham defies the odds—taking 45 shots, missing 31, but still delivering a triple-double with 46 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. With most of the rotation sidelined, Cunningham’s late-game heroics and defensive grit prove why he’s the franchise cornerstone. How did he turn a historically inefficient night into a legendary performance?

Ku Khahil spotlights Daniss Jenkins’ breakout, as the two-way guard drops 24 points and hits a miracle three to force overtime. The episode examines clutch plays from role players like Javonte Green and Chaz Lanier, the Pistons’ evolving depth, and escalating injury concerns for key contributors like Tobias Harris and Isaiah Stewart. Can Detroit sustain its early-season momentum with a depleted roster, or will injuries derail its Eastern Conference ascent? Don’t miss this electrifying analysis of the Pistons’ most improbable win.

  1. That’s proves you’re a superstar when you can impact a game and come out with a win when your shots not falling but your still impacting the game and MADE THE SHOTS WHEN YOU NEEDED THE MOST HONESTLY THIS THE KIND OF GAME THE SOLIDIFIES YOU AS A STAR WHEN YOURE HAVING A BAD GAME BUT STILL VERY IMPACTFUL IN OTHER WAYS AND CAN COME OUT WITH A WIN THIS PROVES HOW HES NOT ONE DIMENSIONAL! Luka would have lost a game like this because yes he might make a few plays far as assists but that wouldn’t have been enough he can’t play D and wouldn’t make up for it on that end of the floor! So glad we have CADE!!!

  2. Ku that’s because you’re a baby, Zeke against the Lakers in the final on a swollen ankle big as a softball giving the Lakers straight work! Is the greatest performance ever, that was what it means to be a Piston, should be required watch for every one who puts on a Piston uniform!

  3. Thomas had a 4th quarter explosion after a sprained ankle in the Finals that was more impressive. But this was right up there.

Hopefully Cade just felt pain and won't be missing a month or two.

  4. Id rather him have a game missing all those easy shots early in the season than the playoffs. If he plays next game im expecting an on point Cade vs the bull

  5. Ku, its easy to call for Jenkins to be in the rotation after he (as much as Cade) won the improbable game for them. And as you detailed it was far more than just the last 2 key 3's. Where have you and all the Jenkin's "fans" been up to now? That most specifically includes BJ Bickerstaff who has let Levert amlessly pound the basketball and run down the shot clock while Jenkins butt has been plastered to the bench. You want to play Levert, fine, put him at the 2 or 3. But from this point on Jenkins must be the backup PG. And, BTW, he will have some sub par minutes or games. Don't yank him. I am not familiar with the rules on 2 ways players, but I sure hope other teams can't poach Jenkins with a roster contract and, if that is the case, then the Pistons should release someone and move him up.

  6. SHOUT out to my boy DANISS JENKINS!!!! I'VE BEEN ON HIS SIDE SINCE SUMMER LEAGUE!!!!! AND HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! And to think y'all wanted Sasser over Jenkins??! Man…. GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!!!

  7. Cade should be trusting his team mate's more because they can't get better if they're not taking shots. If he's missing then why not let them get their shooting eye's in game time, its a long season. Bye the end of the season he will totally worn-out.

  8. Is Cade going to play Wednesday? Sometimes an injury sets in the following day after the adrenaline runs out.

  9. Cade Cunningham was ruthlessly brilliant last night (shooting statsaside) in a spectacular OT win the Pistons were supposed to lose and probably should have mailed it in but Cade showed a courageous determination only seen in players like Zeke, Jordan, Kobe
This guy is a winner and he will win a championship with the Pistons

  10. Was the win worth burning out Cade and Jalen so early in the season? This was a chance to give the bench more run, which may have provided benefits for the future?

  11. I have been very dissapointed that Daniss hasn’t gotten more minutes. Even during the final timeout of regulation I was thinking it should go to Daniss. He had great legs and has confidence. He shouts well, passes wells, plays good defense, etc.

I’d honestly rather him get minutes than Lavert.

  12. The Pistons deserve a much better locked on host than this guy, who's not even American, much less proficient in English. Gimme a break.

  13. If Ausar, Stew, Tobias & Levert would have been available, we would have won by 30 points. I'm kind of glad they didn't though bc it made for one of the most exciting games I have ever witness. Plus, it was even more exciting for me bc as soon as I saw who was out, I immediately bet Cade to put up a triple-double. Not only did he get it, but the final assist he needed to make it happen came on the inbound to Jenkins to tie it at the buzzer. That was incredible.
