We exclusively have centers that can’t jump.. Anyone can be a General Manager in the NBA atp
If you have a team with Ja is your point guard.. your centers shouldn’t struggle to jump.. they should be able to touch the top on the backboard twice in 2 seconds and have Randy moss hands

Joe finally hit the hammer on the nail. It’s the players on the court and when they are not on the court.
The problem is even if the starters played together and the correct people played with the starters, the coach is still only letting them play 28 to 30 minutes a game. The other team is playing their best players 36 to 40 minutes a game.
So that leaves at least a 6 to 10 minute differential where the other team is playing their best players against our scrubs. Who do you think you’ll win that battle most of the time?
So the problem is the damn coach and it’s not hard to see or admit unless you’re Zach Kleiman.
One more thing about speed kills that this rec league coach does not understand. In the NBA everybody is fast!!!
Every last single player is just about fast as everyone else except the top 20 players and the bottom 20.

Memphis grizzlies fans complain about everything. We say we need help and then at the same time say this person and that person isn’t going to save us. Improvements are needed. Let’s consider: new coach, new system, new players, unexpected injuries. Let’s give everything time
I wish I knew what's going on with Ja. Injured? Fear of injury? Psychological issues? Personality clash with the coach? Unable to perform in the new system? Done with the Grizzlies? … Without the superstar version of Ja at its heart, this team with its current roster won't amount to anything.
In February I hope that memphis grizzlies would trade Santi aldama for obi toppin cause I believe he will be a better small forward and power forward than Santi he's more athletic than Santi he can get better rebounds than him and assists on the floor with great plays

Jalen Wells is a Joke. Now seeing what the loss of Baine has weakened the team. Offense game plan is not effective. Rotation makes the team weak. Grizzlies go on a run then bench players come in and A 10 pt swing happens. Got to start with a veteran coach before Morant and Jackson leave!
It's CRAZY 🤪. Its going to be more of the same. The system is not working for Ja. The turnovers are a problem no matter what system you in. The shots are ideal. He does need to get in the paint more and not worry about the fouls being called. Over all the defense is terrible they can't contest without fouling and they can't figure out how to guard the 3pt line. Every game is see Ja try to create something with his teammates the leads to unforced turnovers, on lobs, entry passes or players out of position. The turnovers are on Ja but as a team its not the right system for thr players.

I've had this same gripe for the last couple of years. Our coaches are so in love with their system and processes that they are incapable at looking at the players they have available and creating scenarios that puts those players in an advantageous position based on that player's or group of player's skill set. That is 100% on the coach. And since it continues to be on the coach, that means its on the GM.
Pathetic. That’s all I can say. Perra needs to shake up the entire front office including the coach.
