Lauri Markkanen is going nuclear.
47 tonight.
40 before that.
35 before that.
And a 51-piece already this season.
He’s in the best form of his career.
And that’s exactly why the phone is ringing.
Spurs or Pistons?
Both make sense.
San Antonio has to decide their path.
If they want the Fox–Wemby window now, Lauri is the perfect stretch star beside them.
If they pick the Harper route instead, Markkanen becomes the clean win-now upgrade.
Detroit’s fit is just as easy.
Keep Jalen Duren.
Drop Lauri next to Cade.
Finally get real spacing and an elite scorer.
And for Utah?
They already have young talent.
They’ll add more in a deal.
Lauri doesn’t match that timeline anymore.
And with him playing the basketball of his life, healthy and dominant…
This might be the time to cash in.
Another crazy night with the NBA with so many close games
long time no see the Bulls vs Jazz since Jordan vs Malone, so exciting
