Oh I like the rank!
We gotta stop winning or we are doomed for another 5 years atleast
Lauri is creating a much higher percentage of his 2s than his 3s… I'm not sure having a 7 footer who can receive lobs at forward is really a "negative."
Collier will be better than Walt. People keep forgetting how old Walt is. Collier is the best playmaker on the team and a very good defender. His shot isn’t bad and he had a wrist injury all year last year. He’ll be better than Walt.
I hate this lose first mentality Jazz fans have. Just be confident in the great talent you have and be patient for them to develop. Stop relying on draft picks to save the team.
You're right that pace is a big deal for a young athletic team like this. Collier definitely is pushing that. Love is influencing our team to do cross-court passes to push the offense as well, love to see that.
The sniffling is so bad
Actually, David, Keyonte’s PPS last year was 16.8/13.7 =1.226 this year it is 21.5/15 =1.433. A decent playable NBA player is probably 1.2 while 1.0 means you’re headed out of the league soon. Stockton and Malone were around 1.6 in their hay day. Keyonte’s 1.43 if it sticks is fantastic by any measure or comparison.
– Keyonte should not be the 1 guard… he takes too long and teams adjust to him and get him to turn it over while he waiting to run something up top.
– Our top pick-and-role system is not working… it's better when we play like the first game. Otherwise others, like Bailey, are just sitting in corners waiting. He's not going to become that star by playing this way. That first game i felt "anyone can score". Since then it's just pick and roll to Lauri and everyone else gets the dregs.
– If we have 10 or 12 players we're going to consistently play… then run the other teams ragged.
– Stop relying on 3s. How are more people than our 3 pt shooters supposed to get on a streak if all we take are 3s. We need momentum from taking more 2s closer to the paint.
