  1. Coach is trash, team is trash, this iteration of the Grizzlies is over. They have progressively over the last few years made this team worse and worse.

  2. Idk, what everyone else heard. I heard Joe say bench JJJ because his rebounding and effort is pathetic. Can we all stop saying JJJ is the best player on the team? He excels when there is excellent talent around him. The team goes with Ja. The starting lineup needs to be fixed. Anyone thinks Edey, Pippen or Jerome is the fix are crazy.

  3. Tanking already for not one but two lottery picks as long as Adam silver doesn’t cheat us out of them. We should get either boozer, Peterson or Dybantsa or if lucky two of them. I don’t know what’s happening but I spent a lot of money on half season tickets and drive three hours both ways getting back after 12 . So I don’t know if I should be mad about the coach or stars or klineman

  4. Bro ur mouth be cotton mouth it looks horrible and nasty. Drink some water or put some lip balm on ir lips or something.

  5. We had a good team for some time now. And as a DIE HARD FAN, this sh*t here is tough man. Idk what's going on now . Still love y'all tho but that tough love hitting different ❤lol 😂

  6. Are we trying to do some Moneyball version of something in the NBA now? This reminds me of how my Stl Cardinals have been operating for nearly the past 5 years. Can recognize some talent, but can't develop it. Holding on to prospects that have already hit the ceiling or can't exceed further due to the lack of coaching staff and/or resources. Fence sitters. At least the Grizz PR is waaay more transparent. But the Cardinals did realize when the era was closing in and changed up the minor league operations and now the GM and accept the more obvious "rebuild" that will start this year. Question is are we seeing the signals developing or do we wait for these injuries to finally work in our favor? The clock is ticking…

  7. I feel your pain Joe. At this point, I stopped watching most of the games and focus on work or go fishing. I’ll catch a quarter here and then, but that’s about it.

  8. I love the grizzlies, but blame should be from the top to the bottom. From Zach Kleiman to the players. I put more blame on the decision makers, the GM and the coach. The players don’t want to play in this system and the coach doesn’t want to waver from his beliefs. This will be a recipe for disaster, as we see.

  9. Grizzlies should tank and get some high level talent in next few years to build the roster for 3 yrs from now. They aren't winning anything anyways in the next few years with the existing top player(s) who lack versatility on O and OKC (with more lottery picks next year) are not going anywhere for the foreseeable future. Cut your losses or stay mediocre for long time like Atlanta, Chicago..

ZK has totally mismanaged this franchise.. draft assets being frittered away for distressed assets or questionable picks… budget management over the years only to ensure they can sign JJJJ to a bigger contract in 2025. 2nd round picks are being cast as stars and made to play starter minutes when they don't have the talent.

  10. Grizz GM, ZK is quiet AF now!
This org has had to deal with INJURIES, SUSPENSIONS, BAD COACHING HIRES, POOR FLOOR COACHING, POOR TRADE MOVES by GM Chris Wallace, POOR PLAYER PLAY, etc. As fans, we’ve endured ALL of that and more even when Zbo, Marc, Tony, Mike, and the rest of the Grit & Grind FORCED the league to RESPECT the HARD way they played night after night. They dared to be GR8 and by doing so, they gave Grizz fans a lot to BELIEVE in!!

Now we have Mr. Analytics (Zack Kleiman as GM) tearing down our organization, and it’s being done for the most part from the inside but the fans are primarily blaming the players at this point (NOT Iisalo or mgmt). I wonder WHY? It’s not as simple as the awful play we’re forced to watch. The coaching philosophy of Iisalo is simply not made for the American style of 🏀 . The same style that more often than not wins the Olympic🏅medal while playing under FIBA rules not NBA rules!!
The Memphis Grizzlies are imploding collectively in plain sight on all levels in plain sight. A coach who’s failing miserably less than 15 gms into the season. Once again, no Grizz player played over 29 mins in a 48 min and 12 played in the game. The Hawks and the Bucks were the only other teams to NOT play anyone over 29 mins last night and that is NOT the norm for either team. Keep believing it’s the players and NOT the coach and GM.
82 games of this Iisalo BULL💩is gonna be tough to endure for many Grizz fans!!

  11. Grizzlies just tank this year, because I don't see anything positive so far this year at all, and I'm a fan, no leadership, no culture, just nothing at all 🤔🤨☹️

  12. Joe you have said this on every game about the starting lineup, no one listens to you. I made a suggestion that you should be the coach lol! SMH!

  13. David Fizdale was a darn good coach in Memphis and was fired not even 20 games into the season after a 7-12 start and 0-8 losing streak. So I don't want to hear its too early to fire Tuomas Iisalo after a (small sample size). Lets call a spade a spade, he simply is not a good coaching fit and the Organization did a disservice not even interviewing any other available proven head coaches. The Caldwell pope signing is a disaster he is no where near filling the shoes of Bane.. and the elephant in the room here JJJ- Signing him for $250M might be the worst move of it all. We should have kept Bane as JAs running mate and let JJJ walk and could have signed a big for 1/3 of that price who at least cares about rebounding

  14. 7:57 Nailed it! I noticed it at the Lakers game. There’s serious lack of engagement. These dudes do not care.

And honestly, TI had all summer to take care of this and instill a new culture.

Has he ever had the locker room? Does HE even care?!?

  15. Now is now & much of this is all water under the the bridge. All of this is pointing to a GM who botched a dramatic & serious organizational change. Did ZK consult any of the players on the coaching changes beginning way back in Spring 2024 when ZK had Jenkins remove all his assistant coaches & replace them with Iisalo, LaRoche, etc. Were these moves explained to the players? Zach Kleiman clearly had a vision when he both selected Zach Edey & when he installed two highly skilled basketball minds with similar but also contradictory offensive systems. Did Kleiman explain to the players how vision for the offense when he mandated these assistant coaching changes? And, when, 9-10 months later, he relinquished Taylor Jenkins of his coaching duties, did he provide the players a reasonable explanation & explain his vision for the team & basketball system he wants to see out there on the court. Did he in any way, shape, or form attempt to level honestly with the players? Did he attempt to secure feedback & buy in from the players before he overhauled the coaching staff & basketball system? I venture to say many of these problems stem from Zach Kleiman's poor management of people & the organizational change he thrust upon the coaches, the players, this franchise, & the fans. But, now is now. Iisalo is Kleiman's preferred hire, & it doesn't appear he's going anywhere. So, like it or not, these players, namely Ja & Jaren, need to grow up, try to buy in, & cease this season long protest/temper tantrum masquerading as quiet quitting/bad basketball.

  16. Trade Jaren to the pistons. It’s a win win. He’d fit perfectly on that roster and has a strong rebounder and passer to play with plus he’s familiar with the area. From the grizzlies standpoint we need to see what Jaden Ivey can be as the primary ball handler, before his injury he looked good. I say Ivey, Holland, whatever picks and swaps plus salary filler would be perfect! Ja on the other hand if you got anything decent offered take it and send him wherever. He’s given up and seems like the value is not gonna come back just eventually tank to where we have to pay to get off the contract.

  17. I think the root of this issue is the head coach. We need to have the players play longer each time when they get on the court especially for the starters. They need to be in the game longer to let them go back on track. And changing player so frequently never creates the chemistry to the team. We need to change the head couch immediately. Plz leave Tuomas.

  18. Wait a minute. So you’re telling me the front office made a coaching hire based off ego would be good for Zach E? Not Ja. Not Jaren but Zach. That makes no sense
