Refs were horrible down the stretch. The out of bounds, Deni foul out, Shae no-call were killers. Deniās final shot of regulation was horrible but Tiago shouldāve called a timeout and set up a play. Idk why Reath played zero mins. Our defense has fallen significantly. Iām tired of us finishing every 4th with small ball. Splitterās been making a lot of mistakes lately for those who said we should give him the job after 6 games. We need a great, young, innovative basketball mind who can take this team to the next level. I donāt see Tiago as that guy. Not saying Iām right but thatās how I feel.

I think we need to trade, because the pieces don't work. Sharpe and Deni are drivers, as is Scoot. But that tends to leave Camara and Clingan with open 3s, and those two aren't making up for it on the defensive end IMO. The Blazers have so many bad shooters, it's basic math that the defense has to be really good to make up for that. So if they aren't going to be a top defense, they're fucked.
And yeah, the officials are ridiculous. You have to wonder if the refs are trying to change the outcome of the game because of gambling. I hope they invent AI based officiating someday that will at least make things consistent.

Players should decide the outcome of games not refs making stupid judgement calls that had 0 effect on the game and 99% of other refs wonāt call
My god! We are so horrible down the stretch. Here is an idea: how about playing good the WHOLE period of the game so we can prevent ourselves from getting into a close game in the first place.
The refereeing in the NBA is outrageous. To improve, maybe it's time for NBA referees to fly across the pond for an in-service training from their Euroleague colleagues.

The new schemes simply to not match the roster.
Clingan playing 30ft away from basketball makes no sense whatsoever. Not utilizing his strengths as a passer in the mid post or running the short pick and roll is just so confusing.
This offense doesn't utilize Camara as well who should be in the dunker spot.
Not enough shooting to run this offense and not enough playmakers to initiate. The offense looked decent early, but they have already been scouted and now teams simply pack the paint and let the Blazer's continue to chuck up 3's.
The new defense is a complete misuse of the personel. Camara an a 1/2 court defender is elite, Clingan as a rim protector is elite, even Grant as a 1/2 court weak side defender is really good, Deni and Jrue are both excellent in 1/2 court defense.
As Tory mentioned, extending the defense so far out takes away from the strength of the roster.
It's confusing to watch both the entire scheme for this year be completely mismatched to this roster.
I'm very out on Tiago at this point, idk how we give up this many points to the worst offense in NBA history. We will not make the playoffs if keep him as coach for the rest of the season cause their absolutely are no adjustments despite all the struggling and u need a coach who can adjust in the NBA if u want to be successful
