Do you think the Nets should build forward with Nic Claxton or cash in on his hot start in a trade?
Clax would be so much better it he could take 5 threes a game and make at least 2 of them then he can move over to Power Forward he's out of position and the fact that he hasn't developed into a packaged dribbler who can pull up for a jumpshot he would be unstoppable

Memphis is going to blow that team up. If we could get Jaren Jackson Jr by the trade deadline, coupled with a lottery pick this year. We should be competitive by next year
The nets have more draft capitals than any other team besides OKC there is absolutely no reason why marks shouldnât be on the phone with Houston come December to figure out a way to get back that swap because the reality is this refilled is gonna take some time. If we are trying to do with OKC did itâs gonna take more than two years to turn this around therefore, getting back that 2027 swap is very important. The nets have a lot of pics that are further down the road that could entice Houston who is in a win now mode. It might need those pics down the road when Kevin Durant is ready to retire
Lastly, letâs remember the nets I believe are the only team with significant cap space at the trade deadline that means take a potentially do another salary dump. Houston has Fred Van Fleet, who just suffered a season ending ACL injury. I think it makes a lot of sense to go to Houston, who is in win now mode and offer to take on Fred Van Fleet in exchange for their swap and a player like player like Terrance Mann or Cam Thomas.

Besides his injuries last year, his defense and overall block rate has dropped because of the defensive scheme. He and Dayron mentioned it last year during the season, they eluded to not getting the scheme, but didn't out right complain. His numbers has dropped on both sides of the ball because of both schemes and the lack of a true PG. Not making excuses because he said he has to get better, and won't make excuses.

claxton is a great Center, top 15 in the league and a vet for us, dont trade him. We need team culture and trading all of our players that we draft has no sence, we devolp him and now that he is avereging carrer high we trade him?

His on ball defense has declined. He was a lock down defender 1-4 up until that series we played the Celtics and got swept. Jrue Holiday broke him. Since then I haven't seen him properly guard a point guard.
