I’m afraid he might be injury prone…Sochan playing the backup 5 and kornet must step up
Another losing streak coming up! 😡
I think it’s nothing serious. Spurs are just being overly cautious with wemby as they should be. We’ve seen a lot of nagging injuries around the league surrounding calves.
Lets see the guys step up
Update: According to a league source, it seems that Wemby will miss 2-3 weeks and that the Spurs are being extra cautious. That's a silver lining at least.
Bad news: Wemby now looking to be injury prone, although the DVT was not an "injury" but a condition. And if IF HE IS STILL GROWING, however, then developing foot-leg-blood problems is a bad sign so I would look to step up my title window and WIN NOW…that is, put together a trade package of Fox-Vassell and FRP for Giannis before Wemby is gone forever.
Kornet-Sochan-Bryant-Castle-Fox should be the starting lineup for tanking.
Olynyk-Barnes-Vassell-Johnson-Champagnie-Olynyk-Waters off the bench.
That, combined with the inept coaching of Johnson = Top Ten pick since we won't be able to swap picks with the Hawks.
Y'all are a joke. Sure, things would be great if the Spurs played the Kings all the time. smh
So why have you clowns completely forgotten about Carter Bryant? Y'all were so high on him after Summer League.
I don’t think it’s as serious as the haters want it to be. Spurs are being cautious that’s all.
i think the whole cautiousness started with the whole Kawahi injury conflict where he supposedly felt the staff was not taking his injury serious and what not.. so in a way as others are saying im glad they are being cautious.
Fire Mitch and get someone with more experience.
I think I saw on Friday game where Podz dove under him and hit his fucking calf. Wemby fell down and immediately grabbed his calf. It’s a strain but maybe it’s like torn partially or something.
Oh no we suck again😅
Good for the team to learn faster to play without him. And we'll still keep winning. 💪
Spurs know Wemby is a polarizing player, and the team wants to experiment with lineups and give other players minutes to increase chemistry. They'll win games without Wemby, but its important he get some rest and focus on training for a few weeks. I bet there is no injury at all its just an excuse to rest Wemby.
Castle confirmed out for tomorrow vs memphis. Wemby, Harper, and McLaughlin also out so Fox will be the only true pg available.
Get well fast wemby❤😊
What matters is the sustainability of performance. We don't know what some people have against Sochan. So far, he hasn't proven much, apart from a few good games, especially since he's been injured. Castle is another story. If he hadn't held the fort last season when the others gave up, the Spurs wouldn't have had 34 wins. This year, the team is solid, with players like Victor, Castle, Fox, Harper, Kornet, Keldon, Vassel, and Barnes on a good day. Carter Bryant needs to loosen up; he's playing tense. We need to let him go, even if he makes a few mistakes at first.
Why is everyone so insane about this. This is exact same injury that Ja Morant (a guard) just got. Its the same injury Harper has. Its like 6-7 games and he'll be back. The team is deep enough to keep playing well. This is an opportunity for growth. Next man up
I would love to see Sochan finally play like 30 minutes. Some spot minutes as a small center using his passing and 3 point shooting when wide open as a hub a bit. He should get minutes next to Kornet not just Olynyk
I hope the are able to continue to win without wemby
