I prefer this team to tank hard this season. This years draft is LOADED and its our last pick in the 1st of our own until 2031. With Luka and Reaves that 2029 Lakers 1st is going to be useless, probably 20-30 so who cares.

I rather JH To’s than the experienced backup PG who is not scoring or shooting good…. Whole team is getting TO’s so I don’t mind that it’s who is producing….. Hardy given the minutes we know 1 thing he can score, and the teams needs it.
Checkout Hardy on starts and big minutes in his career he produces… I can live with his mistakes but they need a perimeter guy who can score.

No excuses. Jason Kidd has no one to deflect blame towards anymore. Yes the team was tired from 2 straight games of Overtime but that adjustment is easily solved by playing guys who usually sit more minutes in the beginning quarters of a game to see if they can get hot and create a spark or not.
I don't like Hardy but nobody can deny that he is shooting better than Caleb Martin, D-Lo, and Klay Thompson right now in shooting percentages. Also where is Exum and Ryan Nembhard at? Kyrie shouldn't be rushed back expected to fix this mess as it isn't fair to him as a player. Kidd has full control on what roster change and lineup he wants to make at this moment. Tell him to put in work and solve this scoring issue as one of the supposedly best point guard minds of all time.
My suggestion for a low cost high reward deal right now is Brooklyn Nets for Cam Thomas as the Mavs need more speed at the guard spot to level out B-Will. D-Lo is slow and Klay Thompson is an off ball player.
Flagg about to get traded to l.a. for Bron and coincidentally get no.1 draft pick next year. So gonna tank 😮

I think it’s apparent Jason kid is purely a defensive tactition. Without Luka and kyrie operating the offense, he is clueless. Mavs need a new coach and just keep Jason kidd as an assistant coach just for defense.

Maybe you were expecting too much for this back to back "from home to out of town" game vs Minnesota.
It's not that disappointing when you think of it in a realistic manner. It was Not the same team that played the Trailblazers, as you know. Gafford, out, Lively, out. There was only Cissé, and Powell. Minnesota was coming off a loss so they were out for blood.
It doesn't help that D-Lo is hot & cold all the damn time now. Can't rely on consistency with him.
Seems like they just went relaxed on this game and didn't want to risk additional injuries.

P.s. why are you so baffled about Garbage time points being higher than all the others? It's exactly that, garbage. No real effort and the reserves are playing. So of course Jaden Hardy scored a lot during this time. Yet he still turned over the ball 4 times. Another reason why he's not a starter or bench player right now. He can't hold onto the ball for too long or he loses it! It's annoying watching him try to dribble around, then try to drive and then lose the ball. I wish he developed his game more because he's unreliable.
