  1. Legit no one cares about golden state or San Antonio except their fans. Why we talking about 2 mediocre west teams for like a third of the show?

  2. Answer: Trae is a liability on offense and defense. When Trae returns to health, the best scenario would be trading Trae. The problem is, the rest of the NBA knows Trae's limited value and ridiculously bloated salary. OTOH, Trae cannot be benched without inner turmoil. Hawks can't let Trae walk bc he has the option for next year, which he will undoubtedly take. So, it's a dilemma. However, I say Houston would be the best possibility with VanVleet out and muliple first rounders in their pocket.

  3. Are the Hawks better without Trae? Probably. It's been an obvious fact for years that he isn't that good. He's an [NBA] average at best offensive player, a turnover machine, and an absolute liability on defense. Trae Young is only a star because of Steph Curry. When he was approaching the draft, Steph was at his peak, and he was doing his best Steph Curry impression. In much the same way that Caleb Williams was hyped as much for being "the next Patrick Mahomes", Trae Young was seen as the next Steph Curry.

While I think Trae is certainly good enough to still have gotten drafted, and high, I don't think he'd be your star player if not for that hype, the fact that the Hawks had nothing and rallied around the hope that hype brought, and the fact that they paid him and got themselves stuck.

  4. Trae isn't dumb. He's watching all this and learning (hopefully) and will come back ready to add, not subtract.

  5. No. The Atlanta Hawks are not better without Trae Young. What are we even talking about? Is Nickeil Alexander Walker, who's playing 30 minutes a night in Trae's absence better than Trae Young? Luke Kennard Is playing 23 minutes per game. Keaton Wallace is playing 16 minutes per game.

There's someone that actually believes taking 10 minutes a night from NAW, 10 minutes a night from Luke Kennard, and 10 minutes a night from Keaton Wallace and giving those minutes to statistically, a top 3 playmaking talent in the NBA right next to Jokic and Luka is somehow going to make the Hawks worse? 😂

  6. Sneaker Free Agency is nice. That's why he's getting all the whistles now. If Curry signs with Nike, he'll be getting a lot more calls 😂

  7. Every team is better without him. A can't shoot, turnover machine, who can't defend. Worse he thinks he can shoot. What team needs that?

  8. Young has never been a star. He's been a star in his own mind not to someone who know anything about basketball. Young skill set is easy to find. No one is going looking for it. His style is worthless if you want to win. I have Young's skill set. I can't defend. I can't shoot. I turn it over. I think I'm good. I'm a chucker. Sound to me like I'm a Trae Young clone. I'm a max player! Sign me up for 5 years at 300 million! He's a 43% 35% shooter I'd hardly call that the touch. He's a brick layer. Below average from two and barely average from 3.

  9. Who had Ja getting hurt in the pool last night? In Vegas the odd of him not missing time is 1 in 500 billion. If you bet a $1 and he played you win 500 billion. Vegas can't lose with these odds.

  10. That is my first time seeing this page. Good content guys.

I’m here for my Hawks. @zena hit the nail on the head: can Trae with within THIS version of the Hawks. It’s what I’ve stated for about a week now and unsurprisingly, it’s been interpreted as “Trade Trae!”. 🤦🏾‍♂️

With the prospect of overpaying and not being able to keep building on what we have, you have to consider it. I’m not going to push for it until we get 10-20 games after his return to see how well we play overall.
