The Brooklyn Nets have a direction and it’s building through the draft for the first time in Decades. They drafted their first lottery pick in 15 years, they should not be included in this video, they are bad by design to be good in the future. They have never once stride to be stuck in the middle, it was either go all in like they did Twice since they’ve been in Brooklyn or now build through the draft.

The problem which is growing is you have more and more teams trying to be bad enough to get the better players in the draft. So now what you have to do to be bad enough to get the top picks, you have to destroy your roster every year until you get that player. Then if you are lucky enough to get that player depending on how long your team is in tank mode will be how long it takes to become a title contender What will happen if his mind set is not dealt with is top 4 teams will be great teams trying to win. While everyone else is looking to tank to get in the draft. It will become a watered down league.

The team that should be here is the LA Clippers. They draft a generational talent — SGA, then trade him away before they even realize what they have. Then they sell their soul to get Kawai + they mortgage their future for Paul George. To top it all off, they circumvent the salary cap to build a winner. All this for a 1st round exit in the playoffs.

Nets have direction..tank for next year and having the most draft picks trade for a star in a year or 2 , so no they shouldn’t be here.
The Nets do have a direction. They are rebuilding and tanking for this year. They preserved their cap space to go big game hunting for next season and hopefully a top 3 pick will get them into playoff contention. As far as the rookies shooting, Egor will be a good shooter. I've watched all three games and his mechanics arr good. I am not worried about him. Also Drake Powell is a good catch and shoot 3pt shooter and has excellent defensive potential. I think he will be a rotation guy moving forward. They are playing the veterans more early for 2 reasons, to showcase them for trade and to ensure that the coach doesn't lose the locker room by not at least acting like he's trying to win games. As the season progresses the rookies will play more. They actually stated before the season, that their goal was to get all 5 rookies 60 games between the NBA and the G league. So it's not random. They have a plan
