You donāt see these sorts of games from OKC. As much as Iām a fan of Denver and Jokic, itās really difficult to see anyone but OKC winning it again this year because even if SGA isnāt the talent that Jokic is, he doesnāt take nights off and always leads his team with his energy. Jamal Murray had some awful plays in the clutch tonight too. It is what it is, but weāre like 1/6th through the season. The Nuggets havenāt had a signature win yet and have already lost to Portland and the Bullsā¦ too reminiscent of their two Wizards losses last year
Typical Murray clutch time TO, happens everytime. EDIT: Is the panel real? We are not used to seeing that? It's the clutch, same TO happens every game…wonder what happened against POR and GSW, just this season

PWat had limited opportunities offensively and he was really shaky. Honestly, reduce his offensive role to nothing and just ask him to catch and shoot and if he is at the basket, he needs to try to two hand dunk the basket rather that try for a layup. Was a hard watch
I really really hope they trade Murray. The excessive dribbling has to stop. Such a horrribe clutch TO and he is a terrible defender. He has to be in the top 10 for awful contracts.

The bench is still missing a piece. They need a guy on the same level as jordan clarkson to provide some scoring and distribution, bruce is not a scorer and THJ isnt reliable enough to provide that bench scoring every night. With the leftover cap space they have they should get a guy like that before the deadline

Jamal Murray was ATROCIOUS down the stretch is this game. You cannot have a high variance player be your number 2 guy and build a dynasty off that. They need to trade him.

Poor defense by the Nuggets and poor team management by coach Adelman (especially in the second quarter) led to the loss.
Itās funny how some of our fan base will criticise Jokic when he has a bit of a let down game by his high standards . So many people just rely on Jokic babysitting our team to wins . They act like a Murray is not a max contract player and just expect Jokic to carry him to a win . To e fact is if you trade Murray he will just turn into another MPJ type of player . The quarter when DA got a technical was refereeād egregiously.
These factors killed us : the refs, jamal going too much iso instead of sharing the ball to open teammates, we couldnt defend the constent drives from the bulls in the paint and the bench very bad offense the ball didnt fall in
Jamal took a lot of terrible early clock shots and dribble the air out to misses late in the game.

Stop giving the ball to Murray on the final possessions… leave it in Jokic's hands… several games lost because of that.
My convoluted take is that this is the price we needed to pay to the basketball gods to get Cam Johnson professional basketball player to resemble a regular player for some reason. We paid the blood price

Not going to Jonas in the paint with a size advantage is one of the most frustrating things this team does. Stop giving him the ball in Jokic spaces and start feeding him in the paint ffs!
Seeing the bench got outscored 9-66… Just like old times, eh?
Wind is right, a very last season kind of game overall.
The Nuggets going from possibly the most clutch team in the NBA to losing in the clutch every time is painful.
