Using the first few games as a sample when nobody was playing well just shows the lack of understanding, I've watched every game in the Trae young era and without him we have been way worse. We finally make good moves, the younger guys are taking big leaps and Trae for the first time has a legit roster around him (maybe his first active all star teammate Jalen Johnson) and now it is all trade Trae. The discussion should be how elite the offence will be with Trae and Porzingis back. Look into how bad the ball security, halfcourt offence and PnR has been without Trae. Those are all aspects that you need to win games long term and come playoffs

Trae is a great player, but i feel like we have leaned on him way too much and have let his poor defensive effort and bad shot selection slide because thats all we had in ATL. He's one of the best passers in the league but the ball doesnt flow well when he plays. 23 seconds of Pick And Roll and him with the ball isnt the key to success for us

Sign and trade Trae, KP, Mo, and Asa
For Lauri, Keyonte, Nyang, and Nurkic. Nurkic coming off the bench with Zacc, Vit, Luke, and Naw. Nurk in a way is an offensive system to himself, offers size, and half court offense when the game slows down in the playoffs. Surrounded by 4 shooters. Not to mention he’s on an expiring contract.
Starters Keyonte George, Dyson, Jalen, Lauri, OO.
BASICALLY, think since Trae went out of every minute Keaton got, and give it to Keyonte George. That’s a better lineup. And every minute KP has played and switch him with Lauri. That’s a better lineup. Nyang warming the bench for the most part.
Jazz get Trae to feed Ace, and sell tickets. Walker back next year, KP on an expiring, still get a chance at a top 5 pick this year. And 2 young promising players in Asa, and Mo to compliment the rebuild. The numbers work for both teams and you can add in two 1st round swaps because it’s Danny Ainge and the Hawks core is all signed for basically the next 3 years after this trade
