Kudos to the Hornets, the should have won this game.
If they tricked the NBA, then the NBA isn't very smart. The Raptors record last year didn't reflect the number of wins the Raptors should have won. Most of the starters last year were either injured or when the ASG was over, the team sat out most of the starters for injury or rest. The rookies and bench played most of the minutes in the second half and were getting good enough that they were winning, when the team should have been losing to get a better draft pick. This year the injured players are back, they added Ingram, Mamu & CMB, plus the rookies from last year, now have a full season of experience.

People tend to forget that Scottie favorite player growing up was Magic and he tries to emulate his playstyle on the court – which means Scottie is more focused on distributing the ball than scoring. The kid was always going to be good.
