Tim Legler on Jokic’s GREATNESS, How Good Is The Nuggets’ Defense & More

Tim Legler breaks down Nikola Jokic’s greatness with Brendan Vogt and why this version of the Denver Nuggets might have their most balanced roster ever. We dive into why the Nuggets are ranking near the top of the NBA in defensive rating, how their clutch-time numbers with Jokic and Jamal Murray should normalize, and what holes still remain on this title-contending roster. Plus, Legler weighs in on David Adelman’s impact as a first-time head coach, the renewed buy-in on both ends of the floor, and whether Denver can close the gap on the Thunder in the West. Denver Nuggets fans, Jokic truthers, and NBA sickos—this one is for you.

  1. Defensive rating is already going down hill. I honestly don't buy that they are a top 10 defense at all, More than likely a middle of the pack defense. Teams have been absolutely disgustingly bad from 3 against them. Odds are that will revert back to the norm. Offense is legit but people saying when CB and Cam start splashing they will be unstoppable have to factor in Brucy B, THJ and Gordan and Joker are all splashing above there norms. Offense is still legit top 4 but don't expect them to improve to no1.

  2. look carefully at some endings from before and you will see how good KCP actually was in those moments!! I think the first and basic task of the Nuggets is to decide what to do with Naji, Tyson and Julian !! the guys play a little and when they play they don't show significant progress and they're not there for a short time, ..as soon as possible because the Nuggets need at least 2 players to reduce the starter's minutes because they play more than any starters of strong teams that are contenders for the title!!

  3. Both Blazers and the Bulls games were both officiated terribly especially in the clutch IMO
