Why is defense consistently ignored so blatantly? Jokic is awful on the defensive side of the ball. That is part of the reason why Aaron Gordon has been so valuable for the Nuggets, he can help cover for Jokic’s deficiencies on that side of the court.
Giannis gives you offensive efficiency not seen since Shaq while consistently giving you all-nba defensive team level defense. His playmaking is absolutely fantastic to top it off. The answer to this question is blatantly obvious to anyone who values more than just offense in basketball.
