In the first summer league, all eyes were on Jalen, and Alpi's dominance over Mobley in their first encounter went unnoticed. Afterward, Alpi had to earn the opportunities afforded to Mobley himself. Sengun was always on a rocky road, but from what I've seen, he's been better than Mobley every step of the way. And now that he's finally secured pole position, it's time to notice the elephant on the court.
I love Tate and everything he has done for us but I don’t want to see his ass on the floor. Every aspect of his game is now trash; defense & offense. I rather have that kid in the G-league called Crawford on the floor than Tate.
Who's Mobley?
Alpi and Mobley are in different levels. How on earth people compare them in the same equation. Alpi's league is different. Alpi is a general, Mobley is just a good solder.
I think Bill Simmons and one of his cronies ranked the top NBA players or top 50 or 100 or whatever… anyway both of them had Chet ranked above Alpi. Even before this year that was silly. The whole offense for a contending team runs through Alpi. Chet is an oft injured 3 and D stick figure. I mean Chet is good but come on….
All holiday needed was more time to gel in the line up each year. I personally think he could be as good as his bro or better.. you never know

As a Turkish fan, this is what I honestly think. I keep seeing the same pattern over and over again. Houston fans don’t seem to appreciate Alphi or give him the value he deserves. For a long time, almost everyone was saying the future of this team was Jalen Green.
In my opinion, Alphi should seriously consider asking for a trade to a team where his talent is actually valued. Everywhere people talk about him now, fans immediately push Amen Thompson to the front and claim he is the future — even though he’s talented but hasn’t really achieved anything yet. This has already spoiled Amen and made him more selfish, and his game keeps getting worse.
They refuse to acknowledge what Alphi has already done at his age and the potential he clearly has. If an American Black player were putting up the same performances at this age, Houston fans would be praising him nonstop.
Long story short, Alphi should request a trade to a team where he is respected, appreciated, and loved by the fans.
