Ngl but Wemby once again sitting out games at age 21 is really concerning. He's doing everything from Yoga to Kung Fu and yet… Let's see what happens if he adds even more weight. I could see another Embiid, that would be devastating.

To summarize Wembys injury history- rookie year no major injuries plays over 65 games. 2nd year blood clot and 3rd year is something you want to be overly cautious with. Gotta chill on the injury prone concerns a little.

There's a lot of animosity towards AD right when he walked through the door. Some folks were wishing and hoping he was injured so they could show their ignorance off here in Dallas. Never gave him a chance.
I think what you outlined is even more stupid from the Mavs. Trading AD but keeping Kyrie? If you're trading AD and tanking, you gotta do a full sweep. You gotta get rid of Kyrie/PJ/Gafford, anyone who is over like 23 years out is out of the team immediately. You can keep Max/Lively, but the rest are not players you want to keep when you reset ot a timeline of an 18 year old. Priority number 1 is trying to trade one of those guys to get your pick back in 2027 so you can tank one more year (3 should be enough)
No one that size is ever going to have a long nba career I would trade him while he still has a lot of perceived value.

Much more likely that the entire organization knows that saying you're 100% committed to trading someone means you'll get worse offers because other teams know you have to make the trade.

Tim doesn’t have any insider info nor does he know what he’s saying. This team isn’t trading their core. They need to get healthy and compete. They have three blowouts, and every other game has been a clutch game

This season as a Dallas fan has been soul sucking. We were in the Finals last season with the future of the NBA. Luka Doncic! It feels like a nightmare. The last trade of this magnitude that I can remember is when Jimmy Johnson swindled the Vikings.
Don’t let Cuban off the hook. He created this disaster for his once thriving team. Mark Cuban hired Nico. He watched Nico and Kidd alienate Luka and his people. He let Nico fire Casey Smith. He sold to people who he knew were only interested in bringing casino gambling to Texas. He watched them trade Luka. But now all of a sudden he’s on his good will tour like he’s so innocent. The destruction of the Dallas Mavericks started with Mark Cuban. He doesn’t get a break for hiring Nico and watching him decimate the Mavericks or by selling to gambling tycoon Adelson.

Mark Cuban sold the team to Miriam Adelson. Dumont is her son in law. It doesn't matter how low the bar is there is no way the league should have approved the deal. Cuban knew he was throwing the Mav team and fans under the bus by selling to some of the DIRTIEST money in the world. How did Ms Adelson sweeten the pot to get the aforementioned necessary approval…..trade Luka Doncic to the LA Lakers…..stop the rating bleed and raise the value of the league (owners) in the process. (Lakers went up in value). The last piece of the deal is the Mavs get number one draft pick and generational talent Cooper Flagg in spite of the less than 2%. chance they would? Ms Adelson plays chess and has routinely worked with the most nefarious organizations in the world to manipulate outcomes causing death and despair globally. Nico was just a pawn…a throwaway piece. This is how billionaires do business. The league is corrupt because it's composed of owners who are masters of corruption. How did the suns sale go through…..that dude made a fortune around 2008 because of and when millions of hardworking Americans lost there homes and now the same people in Phoenix are expected to cheer for the suns? Fire Adam Silver and force the sale of the Dallas Mavericks. This is much bigger than the Donald Sterling bs. MacMahon knows all of this but if he said/wrote it we would never see him on ESPN again. PS. Adelson fortune comes from gambling
