The edge in nba use to be super athletic ability, now it is skill and feel for the game. high iq hoops as I like to call it. Look at the best player in the world, the guy can barely run or jump, but it doesn’t matter because Jokic is fucking brainiac with the ball in his hand, or luka. Even look at a guy like wemby who has the outlier human physical tools, he’s an extremely skilled player.
If you watch the last couple games in the ACC tournament when Flagg went down Kon showed he can be a center piece of a team and not just any center piece, he is a center piece that contributes to WINNING basketball
