No player that puts down their occupation as a pro athlete should have it on film that they are “ranking” or “laying down.”
The grammar and word choice is this episode as of the first 13 minutes has been awful. Adam said “closer than either of us is”. Correct grammar would be “closer than either of us are” since its plural. Abby later said “I don’t think you can understate what Jaylen has done for this team” when the correct word is overstate. She said the complete opposite of what she meant by choosing the wrong word. Come on guys. You are journalists. Up the quality.
