How worried are you about Evan Mobley right now?
The Cavs should be more worried about Darius Garland. He’ll have this injury the rest of his career yet we’re acting as if he’s ever going to be healthy? You can’t pay 30 plus million a year in this CBA for a player that won’t consistently play.
For Evan, it's one thing to be asked to do more than you are capable of and needing to scale it back, but he's not even doing the things he did last year. He looks so weak out there. He avoids contact and refuses to go to the rim as aggressively as last year.
He doesn't need to be Jokic, but he has to be a better version of himself.
They need a new game plan, stop trying to make Evan be a player that he will never be.
Shut down Darius till December
They are doing way too much why change the gameplan at all from last year all they needed to do was make adjustments and make some moves for some mental and physical toughness. What we see now is a product of them scrambling around trying to figure it out after changing scheme that was totally unnecessary. The players needed to change if anything.
Mobley has always been overrated. Scottie Barnes is a much better player
The majority of the players on this team are too passive. They’re never gonna win anything. That breaks my heart, but it’s true.
His efficiency is down because he's trying to do things he's not great at yet. He can shoot the ball, but he's not great off the dribble and then shooting. Not yet at least. He's better if Garland or Donovan are playmaking for him and getting him clean looking jump shots. I think he starts too far out from the basket when he wants to drive to the basket. Again he's better if someone is playmaking for him and he's getting to his spot to and then make a play at the basket. This team is completely different with Garland out there and it showed even in just the two games they had him. Without him they haven't found that other starting guard to help create offense for others. Sam can't do that. Tyson can't do that. Hunter can playmake for himself and I love what I've seen from him so far, but he's not making plays for others. It's interesting they haven't started Lonzo alongside Mitchell. I can't wrap my head around that one. This team when healthy will be fine. You're seeing good things from younger guys. It's a very long season.
Back to back excuse. Against raptors people always make excuses if raptors win. We the North dont need your Love, We have too much love from the whole country and worldwide.

Theres something wrong with this team. This feels like it did 2 years ago , before Evan and DG sat 2 months and the Cavs thrived

mobley can put up 25 a game if it's three point game goes where I think it will end offense runs through him in the next two years he can be a better three-point shooter than the Joker who is career 36% This year Mobley is shooting 34.5% from three that will go up in my opinion.

Mobley is not a polish, smooth player everything feels force.. he would never be a superstar.. he's a solid player but that's about it
Call me crazy argue if you want trade everybody fire the coach nothing to build from here evan was our most promising player and he’s showed his ceiling and its not franchise player caliber sell them while their stock is high and get good draft capital and hopefully rebuild better thru the draft im a championship or bust type of guy and our championship window is minimal we cant even get out the east and even if we do okc is waiting

This so called Core 4 will never ever win a Championship! Mobley is average offensively, Allen is too inconsistent and Garland is a defensive liability and is hurt every year. The best 2 players are Mitchell and Hunter they should be around these 2. Trade Allen, Garland and Mobley and recoup all of those draft picks sent to Utah for Mitchell but you must draft better!
Give af mobley and Allen supposed to be dominant and poeltl and Barnes dropped a combined 50!! On they ass men against boys

I have never bought into the Mobley hype
Evan Mobley has always been overrated and needs to just do what his role calls for. Let him play defense and actually play physical and get some rebounds. Get the ball in the post and bully people (put on some weight too). He's soft and too passive. They are trying to make him Kevin Durant and he's not that kind of player.
You're also seeing the effects of losing Ty Jerome. People don't remember how much he contributed to their winning last year.
God, I hate that conceited pre-loaded excuse these so-called analysts make up for teams. EVERY TEAM is dealing with problems of all kinds. Road trips, injuries, and back to backs. Stop with the loaded excuses. It doesn't stop other teams from winning just because they are on the second end of a back to back or when they're dealing with any other issue that all teams go through.
We are 8-5 third seed. No garland its a win.

Mobley is trying to do things he’s not good at. He’s trying to bring the ball up, shoot 3s, break defenders down from the 3 point line. He needs to focus on doing what he does best instead of trying to be prime Scottie Pippen
