I haven't watched Zion much but seeing the little that i saw and how everything is described he needs to play a different way or major load management where he isnt the focal point on a team

CJ was a STRUCTURAL PROBLEM for the organization. The man was good, but!
His contract was too large to come off the bench. Not quick enough to defend 1s, too small to defend 2s, with a shooting guard skill set( not a play making point guard). Is there a worse archetype in the NBA? The contract eliminated free agent center, Hartenstein or Turner. He was Green’s security blanket to the detriment of development and maintaining young talent, Trey Murphy was doing stints in the G league! Dyson and NAW are thriving, elsewhere! We were finally getting out from under that anchor, Dumars trades CJ for a larger contract that has the same limitations! Poole!
Whether we were keeping Zion or not we could have signed Turner or Nas. Reid, both excellent matches for Z! Poole contract!
Could have gotten Brooklyns #8 and 19 for Zion ! Then I would have tried to get Harper for the 7 and 8 pick. Or just take the 7,8 and 19 while retaining my #1 next year!

Pels fan here. We’re exhausted with this team…..lol. We love them but the merry-go-round dysfunction of this organization has been tough on the fan base. I live in central Louisiana and was gonna drive 3 hrs to see the Warriors-Pels game and decided not to spend my time/money just to see them get destroyed(even though seeing Steph would’ve been incredible). When you love your team it frustrates you to see such ineptitude year in and year out. I hope they get it together but things look as grim as they ever have for this franchise. The Saints seem directionless as well nowadays. Pels ownership needs to wake up!!!!
