I'm a Raptors fan and I'm rooting for the Pacers to have nice things happen to them.
yeah I wish they would do that
Pacers are trash.
Was rooting for them to get a top 3 pick as soon as Tyrese got hurt.
remember when the warriors had the same thing happen and they picked james wiseman lol
And this is the perfect draft to have a top 4 pick potentially the pacers are sitting pretty for the upcoming seasons
Warriors fan here, a piece advice: don't draft for need in this situation, draft the best/most ready player period.
NBA Finals Game 7 is called βAmbiguous Lossβ in psychology terms. You canβt wrap your head around the injury and the βWhat If?β and it is continually haunts you without having any closure.
Peterson in Indy would be fantastic
Siakam has maybe 1 year in his prime left, they should considered trading him to a team who is in "win NOW" mode. Get a potential great young player and a cpl picks, maybe take back a bad contract.
So we've finally reached a point where tanking an entire season is being discussed as a legitimate strategy in the NBA? We all knew it was happening for decades, but now it's so obvious analysts are discussing the quality of the tanking strategies?
I'd rather boycott this joke of a league than accept that cheating is just going to be a regular part of the game that needs to be considered as a potential of every team's longterm strategy.
Strategic "injuries" and continued point shaving and intentioal losing, by some of these millionaire players, is becoming the norm.
Is the NBA the most currupt and bullshit sport in the US?
Pacers will somehow end up with the seventh pick or some shit
Turner is not nothing he is something i guess they could trade for him back when the bucks blow it up
Two quarter zip aficionados
Cam Boozer would fit really nicely with their style
he's right we already knew we were without TH let's get a top 5 pick we're gonna be good for the foreseeable future very good young team
Yeah it could be tbh
Itβs eating at bill so much that the Celtics arenβt full on tanking this season
A Joe Dumars masterpiece. Traded that future Indy pick for the 2025 23rd pick (Asa Newell) and Mojave King. Later traded Newell with their own 2026 pick for Derik Queen.
Mannn no one is worried about the pacers π they can get the number one pick and still not making that kind of run in 2024
The Pacers are the 4th-5th best team in the east when everyone is healthy. That won't change after the draft.
These guys are always talking about tanking without any regard for the product. The fans donβt want to see bad basketball! Stop promoting tanking! Youβre killing your own industry! You guys are lucky gambling is in sports. The ratings and money overall would drop by about 50-60%. In the NBA the players are always hurt, stars sit out games and you have half the teams that are unwatchable. In the NFL you have horrible QB play, horrible officiating, canβt
Hit anymore, If not for gambling these watered down sports would not survive.
