Yeah but how are we going to keep everyone then pay everyone in next 4 years and still have to pay stupid Beal? Might have to eventually let brooks and Grayson and O’Neal go to start paying Dunn and Fleming and Maluach. Then Williams and Gillespie need to be payed next season.
Brooks has been just about as good as butler this season. Butler isn’t that much better
Butler is better shooter but brooks is scoring more and has more steals. Brooks is a legit 18-20 point scorer though. Butler is only a 20- 24 😅point scorer his whole career. He’s old now so he’s only like around 20 point scorer.
Brooks is not an alpha. It’s been 15 games.
But is Jimmy a better player? Gambo. Thinks so and said it 50 times in 5 minutes 😅
Do you mean Jimmy Butler‘s had successfully in the league, cause he is not a better player right now. You guys get stuck on names. Brooks is a better player. All around for sure.
Right now today, this second this minute, Dillon Brooks is better. And he is cheaper meaning he brings a lot more value. You can sign other players with the player that’s almost just as good.

So, Dillon Brooks has played for 3 teams, traded each time, and not by his choice. Jimmy Butler has played for 5 and regardless of trade or signed as a free agent, unless I am completely wrong pretty much whined his way out of each team.
p s. How does it impact Booker if Butler lives up to his bad rep?
If it's 2019-2023 Butler, then I'd take it. 2025 Butler isn't the same Butler. I'd say 2025 Brooks is better, and he's a better teammate as well.

Until we got brooks I didn’t like him now that he’s on my team I absolutely love him and I think he makes us so much better
Regardless of who's the better player, I look at who's the better fit, and, who helps build the culture this team needs. Sure, Butler is the better player, but Brooks is a piece that helps to build a foundation of culture this team has so desperately needed. I think of this year as a rebuild. If this team can continue to build on the foundation that Ott's system brings, I can see this team surprising people in the next couple of years. Let's be patient, and not set high expectations for this year. Plus, unlike the last couple years, this team now is FUN to watch play.
