Horace's #54 should be in the rafters. It's crazy how everyone is always focused on the 2nd 3peat w/Rodman but the 1st 3peat was magical. He was a true workhorse for those teams. Congrats #54, an honor well deserved.
The OG hard hat and lunch pail player imo. Legend. Also 0:14 the real ones know what video game this clip is from 😁
This whole Ring of Honor thing is cool, but let's be honest: the starting five's numbers should all be retired. The Bulls themselves summarize their history with MJ and Pippen, and I think that's disrespectful to the other three starters from the first three-peat, especially Horace. And I'd love to see Rodman's number retired too. I didn't get to see Van Lier play, but he deserves it as well. Retired numbers enrich our own history. Yes, the GOAT played here, but our history can't be just about him.
These are so well done! Great job!
You still playing with puzzles, Horace?
Horace Grant is best rebounder for the Bulls in the 1990
BJ and Doug Collins should be the next ring of honor two years from now
Horace was a dang good player but a hall of famer?? absolutely NOT
I do agree that he should make the hall of fame
I believe had he stayed after the first three titles and played at that level, I believe he would be considerd for the Hall of Fame. I saw him play almost from the beginning and knew what he brought to that team.
Shouldve never been allowed 2 leave
Nice lil touch with Harvey at the end
The greatest athlete in Chicago to wear #54 in my opinion. He was instrumental in that 1st 3 peat!!!
I LOVED Horace Grant on our Bulls.
If only he and Scottie didn’t come together to hate on Mike so much, they likely would’ve kept him.
His mid range was spot on. (Didn’t watch the video, just going by memory of those beautiful years)
I’ll come back and watch though.
I always out Horace on my 2k all Bulls teams.
An incredible athlete. He was the bruiser type of PF but he gave the bruisers fits with his speed and athleticism. His ability to be a part of the full court press marked the defensive trademark of his time with the Bulls. I think it was Johnny Bach who said Jordan, Pippen and Grant were like Dobermans. 54 should be in the rafters at the United Center
Had he stayed for the second three-peat and kept a consistent production, he would have made the HoF. But he felt he would get more respect by going to Orlando and helping Shaq and Penny get over the top, that miscalculation most likely costed him having the accolades necessary to even be considered for the HoF.
Horace !!! Great key player.. Always love number 54 in my basketball shirt:)
Horace Grant is HOfer base off his basketball career including his college as well his NBA
Harvey cameo was a nice touch
Congratulations Horace, you deserve it!!!!🎉🎉🎉
He struggled in the last 2 games of the 1993 finals against Phoenix, but he did the 2 most important things in Game 6 that clinched the threepeat. He threw the assist to John Paxson for the game-winning 3 point shot, and blocked KJ's last shot, which was the Suns last chance to regain the lead and force a 7th game. He also, along with Pippen, blocked Charles Smith's shots repeatedly in Game 5 of the ECF that year to snap the Knicks home game winning streak at Madison Square Garden, and they only needed 1 win at MSG to win that series, despite not having homecourt in that series.
Nobody got overlooked! 🙄 We BULLS fans and basketball lovers, apreciated and loved Horace, the same way we loved BJ, PIP, LEVINGSTON, PAX, HODGES…etc🖤❤️🖤🤍That stupid documentary ruined everything. It was the opportunity to showcase the true greatness of the 80's and 90's NBA basketball💔🧡🏀
To me, Horace made wearing goggles iconic.
Horace grant was good power forward mid range shot block shots rebound good he's a hall of fame no Question
What if Horace Grant didn't get injured in Game 1 vs Bulls in 1996?
This is a great series I think his video is going to be last. It should have been first, but they are a thrill to see!
Horace is great. Way over due.
Lebron James is definitely the most valuable player in National Basketball Association history!
God every single person is a hall of famer now…The standard is not going beyond a perceived standard of excellence but just for playing…Horace was a solid player and an important piece, but he's not up there with the likes of MJ, Magic, Bird, Kareem or an Olajuwon????….Give me a break!!!!
I don't usually agree with Sam Smith – but Horace Grant is absolutely a Hall of Famer. It is too bad he left the Bulls after the '94 season – but glad he is getting his recognition as one of the all-time great Chicago Bulls and hopefully the Basketball Hall of Fame will be next.
The two of the most underrated players of all-time: 33 and 54.
Great video
Well deserved ! The Bulls should retire his jersey ..
#54!
Them goggles 🥽 are iconic he looked cool asf , he was a star
I'll take the first 3peat over the second
Let Jordan stans tell it, horace grant was not important.
how come reinsdorf didn’t resign him then at the end of 94???????? CHEAP ASS OWNER!!!!!!
Grants was a beast! Number should be raised at the united center and eventually Orlando.
