Jonathan Kuminga NOT to blame for Warriors slow start: How Curry, Butler & Draymond get on track

Jason reacts to the latest in the saga between Jonathan Kuminga and the Golden State Warriors after a report in The Athletic by Anthony Slater that JK feels like a scapegoat. Jason explains that while Kuminga is not the best fit with the roster, the team’s veterans such as Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, and head coach Steve Kerr need to handle the situation better.

  1. I agree but Kuminga isn't blameless here either. He's been in the league for several seasons and refused to elevate his game in the areas his current team requires.

  2. Respect to Jk but January 15th cannot come quick enough. Regardless of who is to blame for where things stand now, it’s obvious this just isn’t gonna work out. There’s no reason these talking points should still be a thing between him and the team after five years.

  3. kuminga IS THE REASON WHY They're So MID and the Owner too, for IMPOSING this MFER on the Team !
If you Gonna do Politics BULLSHIT im off this channel ! Or you're UNINFORMED and therefore should Not speak on this.
the ONLY kind of player they should've had in his place in the starter, should have been a SHOOTER and DEFENDER. kuminga is NONE of that !
Get to know that Lacob(owner) lamented that "kuminga didn't play much during their 2022 Championship run". that tells you that is motivation is not winning, But "wining with the Players that HE HAS CHOSEN and DRAFTED".
Which Never happened Before, Because Jerry West Made those Championship Teams Not Him !

  4. The word "agenda" was initially used by the reporter and not draymond. He just answered what he was asked as a general idea. Jimmy was asked about what draymond said and also answered in the most generic way possible. Media always want to insinuate, twist words and create drama for attention. Low IQ fans with lack of comprehension skills just swallow what they are fed. Unfortunately you are on the same boat. No one was blaming anything

  5. I think everyone thought those quotes were about the young guys cus theyre easy to scapegoat, but I have a feeling butler is starting to not like steph/draymond/kerr for not locking in. It makes more sense if you watch his quote back with that in mind

  6. Kuminga needs to be treated like a permanent starter. Its ridiculous that Podz can play 70 minutes in two games and have 2 assist. The problem is Podz. Another problem is Kerr refusal to do whats common sense. Line up should be Curry, Butler, Kuminga, Green, Post. Stick with that and commit to it! Figure it out! Off the bench the 25 minute plus player should be Moody not Podz! Then after should be Melton, Horford, Will Richard, THEN PODZ!

  7. Kuminga problem is he thinks he superstar, he has yet to prove that he is superstar. He always think in the i mode instead of team mode. Lot’s of potential, but probably only good player on bad team.

  8. C’mon man – you are better than this video and take on this situation. This may be the first time I had to cut a video of yours off for sounding like espn smh.

  9. Only one player of all those you listed, who have struggled at times so far, held up the offseason and Steph’s career because of how good he is. Yet, anytime he gets a chance to shine, he shows he is the weakest link. So much so no one would sign him straight up or sign and trade for him. Thst says more about Jk than the warriors who have a resume to back them that Jk doesn’t.

  10. The problem is draymond. With the warriors not having a lot
Of fire power. Draymond is a cone on offense
