I’ve been wanting Charlotte to trade both LaMelo and Bridges for a while. He’s good, but hurt a lot so he’s not available, I’m not a big fan of his playstyle for winning.
But realistically Charlotte is losing anyways so might as well get as much draft capital as possible to keep throwing stuff at the wall and see what sticks.

But the reality is that both of those things are not gonna happen. he never was, isn´t and never will be a winning player. i wouldn´t even look in his direction.
However – New Orleans is desperate enough to take him on and would be better with him for the pretty selbon strechtes he is actually healthy. Dallas also needs help ASAP – but i don´t think a competitive freak like cooper flagg could tolerate him for more than six month

LaMelo to Pelicans for Murray, Missi, and Fears. Pelicans don’t have their own pick, no reason to tank. Clearly don’t view Missi as their long term guy. Fears looks solid but Melo is a proven all star caliber guy and the pick and roll with Zion will be amazing. They also get off Murray’s money. For Charlotte, the two young guys fit in nicely with Kon and Miller and can all grow together. Maybe they can rehab Murray’s value and flip him later. If not oh well. A top 10 and a top 20 pick for Melo is good value.

LaMelo for Fox because you want an offensive engine next to Wemby that is his age. LaMelo is literally 3 years younger than Fox and a WHOLE LOT less reliable. Why would the Spurs do this? They just traded for Fox for these reasons. They could have traded for Melo, but why would they give up Fox for a lesser player than Fox
