These last few weeks has shown me Pistons and Lions fans don’t know ball like I thought we did 💔 AD as a main option absolutely not.. AD as a 4th scoring option who is still an elite rim running big and one of the 7-10 best defenders in the league absolutely makes us real contenders… He wouldn’t be playing heavy minutes which would remove injury risk and wear and tear… and every season he’s ever played next to an all star center (which Duren is) AD had a career year.. In NOLA with Cousins AD was unreal and healthy.. In LA with Dwight and JaVale he was unreal and healthy! If we can get him for the right price you absolutely bring him in! Not to mention he can be a vet for Duren… AD has an insane offensive bag he could share with Duren and he’s a wayyy better defender than Duren and could pass that game on too! For the right price I’m all for it!!
Honestly, this may sound crazy, but I’d only play him in the fourth, in close games, or only five minutes per quarter. Something to dramatically reduce his playtime and exposure to injuries.
