reed was open on two occasions , but KD decides to shoot contested shots. i know its KD but come on now you should know better.
KD didn’t shoot enough! He literally runs pic n roll, makes a pocket pass and is out of the play. He’s not aggressive enough

Hopefully at some point, the coach and players will swallow their pride and utilize Reed Shepherd/win games (like tonight could have been). He has been the same resource from the beginning. It’s not like he’s getting better… He has always been this good.  don’t park him in a corner… Let the Offense run through him and you will win… Or you can keep doing what you’re doing.  LET'S REED START……
Udoka is thibs on roids. Brick headed coach that doesn’t change his ways. No offense ingenuity or creativeness whatsoever. This team will win games off pure talent but if he can’t adapt and coach to his players strengths they will only go so far when the moment comes.
Jokic and Murray are a far better duo than 37-year-old KD and Sengun. Rockets need one more star to take them to the next level. Use Eason, Finney-Smith, and picks to get it done
Why wasn’t KD and Sengun looking for Reed? He was the hot hand and there were least 4 possessions they ignored Reed and went for tough contested shots and also what the hell Sengun shooting the half court shot?

The team (other than Reed and Jabari) deferred too much. Attack and take what’s there! Sengun was too tentative and had too much of a pass first mentality. Even tho Thompson scored well he was also too tentative. Attack the rim
Outside of Reed, the Rockets were missing everything. Before Smith got hot, he was 0-11. Terrible shooting tonight. Was it just me or were players rarely looking to Reed. He was wide open so many times at the 3. Reed could have put up 40 tonight. Sengun never looks to him. Sengun 6-14 and KD 5-15 looked terrible tonight. Reed 9-13. Rockets could have won tonight.
Disappointing coach disappointing team are season is over
I think ime out-coached this game. For some reason when jokic is out at 3rd 4th quarter we never saw alpi post up at corners. When jokic is out, there is nobody that can guard him 1 on 1. If they double, kickout to kd and if they go to kd swing it. I don't think it was a player decision.

The mistake you make as a coach starts with KD. he is 37 years old. You should have known that he would have a hard time against Denver, which played fast and aggressively. If you had played with Alpi-Reeves-Adams-Jabari-Amen instead, I think it would have been better to complete the first 2 periods with aggressive defense and fast play, and then play KD against the worn-out in the 3rd and 4th periods. In a situation where KD is not present, starting by giving the responsibility and control to Alpi would also be good for Alpi. Because Alpi has proven this many times.
Great job completely failing to prepare your team to start this game. Complete offensive confusion from the opening bell.

Swallow your pride and pass the fuckin ball to the 6’2” white dude. He’s the best shooter on the team. KD looking old. Sengun can’t make a shot that’s farther than 5 feet from the basket. His 3 point percentage will plummet as the season goes on.
