Raptors come up HUGE in the clutch against Nets, Ja’Kobe on FIRE, RJ Hurt? | Post Game Live

The Toronto Raptors host the lowly Brooklyn Nets at home and put their winning streak on the line without Jakob Poeltl. The burden of rebounding against Brooklyn’s frontcourt will fall on Barnes, CMB, Ingram and Barrett. The 905 guys should also be available to get minutes today following their legendary start.

  1. Fun fact: we had the same exact score as the last time we faced the Nets. I did not expect a win tonight, I thought we would be too high on our win in the nba cup plus the game against Cleveland tomorrow plus no Jakob versus a big team.
I agree that the RJ injury will be fun in terms of new lineups, but prayers he won’t be gone too long.

  2. Jakobe and Gradey compliment each other's playing style. After seeing the player combos it becomes almost painfully obvious of a certain player's uneasy fit with practically all combos.

  3. RJ being out = more shots for BI, Scottie and IQ, Jak and bench will pick up the scraps. This might be a blessing in disguise.

  4. Great podcast as always!!!
I have to say something: Am I the only fan who really hates Devlin's call of but I may not have it exact 'Momo, Gunna Knock you out'!!!!
It just don't jive well with me lol

  5. Feels like they're just as good as the DeRozan years right before they got Kawhi. The biggest difference is we don't know how these guys will perform in the playoffs.

They might have the right personnel right now and given time they could contend. Or they are one big move away from putting them over the top. 50/50

  6. Bi was +13 Scottie was +2..did Bi really have a bad game..?. If it was the other way around you would mention it

  7. Rob I just wanted to mention that if the Raptors lose to the Cavs tomorrow they wont be tied in the standings. The Cavs would be a half game in front of the Raptors alone in 2nd place.
