We have OG yes who is an above average defender however our defense struggles and success shouldn’t be based on one person. Defense is a mindset and for years our players don’t have that mindset. It isn’t coaching— bcuz Thibs is a so called defensive minded coach and our perimeter defense especially sucked. And
Now we got Brown which I prefer 100 times more than Thibs, our perimeter D, is still terrible. We lack athleticism and offensively we can score but scoring as a team-.Not so much.
Yo Bro we need the following and this isn’t a plug for a superstar. We definitely need a back up PG. A distributor and defensive minded PG. We have ample scores just a facilitator and an athletic wing that is again defensive minded and has the ability to get his shot
Off—— consistently despite the defensive look he faces. We desperately lack athleticism. And is Hackporti injured ? Bcuz for the life of I don’t know why he’s not playing. Smh
Yeah… I mean, if you think about it, the trade deadline in only TWO MONTHS AWAY!
The 3 point defense against has to get better. KAT makes no effort to close out on defense. Even Mitchell Robinson gave no effort against Orlando and how can you leave him out there to close out games when he’s shooting free throws so poorly. I’m kind of demoralized by what I’m seeing so far. The Knicks are not the gritty physical team under Mike Brown. I sure hope it gets better. Right now Orlando is a better team than the Knicks and Miami, Toronto and Cleveland all look to be better in this supposedly weakened Eastern Conference.
Get yannis bring up dink pate play diawara and dadiet we need toughness more athletic tougher and bigger at guard position just to soft all together coach is soft to fire him bring mark jackson
The next year Knicks, will beat the weak teams but will continue to have problems with the top tier teams of the East and West. Clarkson reminds me of J. Randal you cringe when he touches the ball. We need defensive on the perimeter as well as in the paint, others wise we all will be her next year saying the same things.
It's early but if Yabusele don't slim down, he gotta go, Mitch & KAT too, nothing personal this bout a chip. Mitch never available, now when he is, he on load management like he Kawhi when he's way younger 😭 & we got people talking about no we don't want Street Clothes, if AD is Street Clothes, Mitch is "Bench Warmer", KAT needs to change his game & he's too set in his ways, he'll always be a 3 point contestant wannabe who makes silly fouls & can't slide his feet. Mitch will never be a offensive player & will only be good on defense, Yabusele looks like a scam, a brand new car that you paid all this money for but soon as you pull out the lot, the car breaks down. Changes have to be made, starting with Mike Clown, he has to defend the 3 better & actually adapt like he said he was. Mitch can't handle big minutes so how he gonna actually help us in the playoffs, we can't trust him to be healthy.
Mitch, Yabusele don't have a market, Yabusele can bounce back, teams seen what he did before & may be willing to take a chance on him, KAT has the most value, if we trade KAT, we have to put those 3 in the deal & throw in Pacôme too cause I don't think he'll ever be anything great, we should go after Gafford, PJ & Kispert as well as others that I'm not gonna name for time sake but it's clear Giannis goofy loyal ahh ain't coming here, he just yapping then took back what he said as if he never said it. That shows me he don't stand on business & what he say doesn't mean anything.
Anyone is tradeable if we want to beat the Thunder in a 7 game series.

If Mr Leon Rose feels that the NY Knicks aren't good enough to win the NBA championship. He will trade anybody, except Jalen Brunson.
The sad part is, the Knicks won't go anywhere in the playoffs this year. Just next year or ahead into the future.
The NY Knicks is not a balance team. Good on offense. Bad on defense. The Knicks Centers squad failed on defense that the problem, except Mitchell Robinson.
Fix it or trade the bad defensive Center.
Please… don't trade Yabu… trade Karlita Towns for swiss cheese defense…. for Giannas or Davis …. bet you now… Rose wish he hadn't fire Thibbs cause with the players the KNICKS have …. Tibbs would've had them playing more defense than Brown… although Brown offense is a couple of points like 5 or 6pts… Tibbs defense was alot better an to tell you the truth… he would have Karlita Towns playing more defense being that its his 2nd year here.. Part of any trade is who do we get for giving up someone in a trade. Because of his injury history , i would trade OG for Giannis if Milwauki would take it .

Leon Rose needs to check on Jemison and Dink Pate from the G.league. specially with Shamet out and Yabusele Mohamed we are still waiting to get the silver line to see 👀 what they can do
Playing defense requires self motivation and aggression don't see that from Kat and Yabusele

You cant convince me that guershon is the problem i bet once he is trade he will go back to what he was last year like every knick player has done in the past. You cant expect a player to be good with in consistent mintues he not on the court long enough to make an impact. Thats the problem he not getting 20 plus mintues a game which i think he should be getting. If he was getting them mintues and playing like this i understand but thats not the case and its sad that people think he is a bad pick up. The things he did with philly he can do with us but he should be getting mintues he can shoot yall just setting him up for failure like yall do alot of bench players lol.
Alright so I understand the principal behind trading and you do have to give up somebody which to me isnt gonna be a starter that's ineligible but I hope not for injury prone AD
We went all in for the wrong players. Good players, not great players. Should have stayed the course and continued to develop what we had along with draft picks.
