The funny part is they asked Wemby in his rookie year who he wants to block most, and he said "My brother Oscar when he gets to the NBA". But I doubt they play together cause Oscar is going to be drafted likely first round
There is a guy the Spurs must draft in 2026 and his name is Zvonimir Ivišić aka Big Z from Kentucky. At 7’2 this kid could do a lot of similar things Wemby could. He ciuod stretch the floor since he shoots 3s I believe the Spurs could turn him into an animal.

3pt DEFENCE ENIGMA: At first it seemed like the fault of strategy — Wemby doing drop coverage and perimeter defenders staying on their man, going over the screen, with no switching. This was supposed to limit catch and shoot and corner 3s, while funneling ball handlers into the paint/Wemby. But Steph et al. ate that up, coming off screens to deadly effect. UNFORTUNATELY, since Wemby is out, they've tried switching and going under screens, even some zone variations that man-up on the ball handler… blah blah… SAME PROBLEM! Just can't stop the shooters from beyond the arc. So, what is it?
