Yes, as a huge Warriors fan, we have a deal
2027 #1 pick
doesn't even work. Kuminga, Moody, Hield have to be involved.
Mitch Richmond for Billy Owens is the only Kings/Warriors trade that comes to mind
Terrible idea no matter the plan for the Kings
That trade means we lose our offensive centerpiece and our only starting caliber center. We get back 2 more guards and a wing that only brings you anything if you’re trying to compete, and you can’t compete if you lose your center and only have mid PGs. We also get back only 1 pick which doesn’t sound terrible until you remember that Lavine is a negative asset and DeMar is too old to realistically bring a pick
So we won’t win this year unless we somehow land Trey or Ja and a center with our other pieces, and we won’t win in the long term because we only got 1 or 2 picks from our 3 top guys. Terrible all around, I really don’t see what the guys are talking about on this one
Levin and derozen need to be split up they don't hold each other accountable
If i were The Kings, i would ask around the nba and try to get a true center.
Sabonis as a small ball center probably has a first round exit ceiling.
The center doesn't have to be elite, it can be a journeyman type but one that specializes in either shooting the 3, rebounding, or shot-blocking.
I don't think you can get one that does all 3 but maybe shot-blocking/rebounding should be the focus.
This is going to be a long season!
Dubs fan, don't see the Warriors making this trade. Give up 3 or 4 players plus a first round draft pick for Sabonis? He isn't a Top 10 player, a poor defender and they would have to go over the first apron of the CBA to add players to the roster.
You underestimate Moses Moody
Moses Moody is also the most stable emotion wise you can possibly get. You misspoke.
It doesn’t work cap-wise. Swap out Podz with Buddy and add Keon, and it works. It should be obvious that the Warriors aren’t going to give up that big haul and only get a guy coming off two injuries this season, who may not even play for a long time.
