Bro, Willie was just a bad coach, and I'm a Detroit nga who has met him a few times when I was younger. He was a very good dude, but an awful coach. He wasn't good at the X's and O's or being a motivator. Ge doesn't have the personality to motivate dudes to go out and buss their ass for him. Spolstra doesn't have that either but he is great with the X's and O's.
Willie sub patterns were bad, his play calling was bad, he didn't call timeouts during runs of opposing teams, he didn't practice passing to the post, everybody was awful at throwing lobs, ect.

Willie green did have us rolling for a while. He’s not a terrible coach. But he didnt really develop anybody’s game. I kinda feel like that one year of Van Gundy you saw he was really showing those guys how to innovate their game. Granted he was screaming like a mf so he had to go but he knew ball and had a pretty slippery handle himself he’d actually get in there during practice and show them new ways u can dribble with the rock

I think he’s not a good coach, but I think the front office is worse then him they have horrible medical staff the team never really had a chance for everybody to be on the court together and that’ll make any coach look bad with your all stars always sidelined
