As a Nuggets fan, I will say Zeke is a misunderstood player. He was a 1st round draft pick from 2020 who has potential. But under Coach Malone, he was buried deep under the bench. Zeke used to shoot the 3 ball really well in his first 2 yrs in the league at 40% even though it was on very low volume. But then, he changed his shooting form to a 1 motion shot and ever since then he has been an inconsistent shooter. He was also asked to be a traditional center at the 5 shortly after the shooting mechanic change when he is really best utilized as a versatile stretch 4. He did not see playing time at PF until last season when AG was injured as well. I said Zeke is a misunderstood player because I don't believe the coaching staff fully trusted him and allow him to play his natural role which is the 4. To make matters worse, the previous GM, Calvin Booth, extended Zeke to a 4 yr $32 mil contract which further added the disconnect between him and Michael Malone. Zeke is overpaid, but imo that's mainly because the coaching staff never properly developed him and just put him in a box under a defined role. Unfortunately, now every Nuggets fan want him gone or traded because he's making $8 mil a year until 2028 just to collect DNPs or not being part of the regular rotation. In my opinion, Zeke Nnaji should be part of the rotation as the backup PF on the team.

Zeke has potential got paid $32 million to stay healthy then got hurt during our championship run after that he was riding pine hard to allow new young players to find a role on the team Mike Malone may have had him in doghouse or was pressured by higher ups to play other players when we needed a body off of bench he played against Zion which earned him a niche because he did good last year against him Zeke has been dealt some bad luck a guaranteed contract but still shows up at times when he's needed by his team Jokic always gives him a chance on nights he played he did some good and other times very inconsistent as if game to big got Zeke all in all he's a team guy this year he has a chance for some redemption so like all underdogs he may have a lot of people still rooting for him to do something big he can contribute just needs to limit turnovers stay away from being streaky from there he can carve himself a permanent role in NBA this year he can contribute with all the injuries he has potential for 10 pts off of bench with 5 boards thats maybe his ceiling but can bring energy

If you are a fan of the game of basketball, Jokic should be one of your favorite players. Hakeem, Larry, TMac, Reggie, and the list goes on… Legends know how good the dude is. GOAT level players change the game, he is actively reframing the role and presence of big men in the NBA.

Oddly enough I think the AG and CB injuries helped the nuggets because Cam looks to be more sure of when to shoot. Not worrying about all the different guys that could take it.
Also, they def making another move. Whether it’s Keon Ellis or Malik Monk. They need a shooter/Ball handler or a top end defensive guard with handle.
Like with the way AGs hammy been doing him, I honestly think they’d be better served bringing him off the bench on the first rotation with Big Val. Making it Jamal Bruce Jones AG Val. Then slow roll the starters back in till you get Joker AG Pwatt CB Jamal and then pull AG and insert Cam.
Watson gives you the rim protection Aaron used to. AG shooting and his understanding of the offense would ensure your bench never cedes ground. Specifically against OKC this could cause them a ton of problems because for all the Shai hype. They open their leads up when the bench unit comes in.
