It will be interesting to see if that's the autonomy we have heard before?
Well Gm Scott Perry was a part of the group that turned around The Knicks.
They are not a championship team yet but clearly one of the contending teams.
I really think that's what Kings fans deserve.
They are one of the most loyal fan bases in the nba.
I would say Warriors, Kings, Thunder, Pacers, Blazers, and Knicks(i'm sure there are some i forgot to mention, don't get upset…😊) are the fan bases that win or lose, pack the arena and cheer their butts off!
I think Gm Perry should add both Ellis to the Murray/Clifford untouchable group.
A 3 and D player, especially one that really likes to defend, is very hard to find.
I like the possibility of asking Russ to stay on as a player/coach to assist the rebuild(this is sort of what Jrue Holiday is doing in Portland without the coaching title)
Move Sabonis and be very specific in what you are trying to get back.
The Kings not only need high level young players but they need size, defense, and rebounding.
Move DeRozan and Lavine when you can.
Offer Monk and Schroeder in any trade packages or multi-team trade deals.
Maybe take a risk on adding either AD or Embiid, injury-prone bigs that might have lower trade value now where you can get them without depleting lots of draft assets.
Or target a younger center who specializes in blocks and rebounds(Robert Williams III in Portland?)
Adding size, interior defense, and rebounding should be priority #1
There is no point in building a young team if they can't grab defensive rebounds.
I would be playing Keegan and Keon 28-34 mins every night!
There has to be a way to make Sam’s connection consistently stable.
