INSTANT REACTION: C’s SURVIVE HUGE MATCHUP vs. Pistons after Cade’s late missed free throw ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Chris Forsberg, Eddie House and Brian Scalabrine join Kayla Burton to offer instant reaction and analysis following the Boston Celticsโ€™ 117-114 win over the Detroit Pistons in NBA Cup play. Boston pulled out the win despite a late scare, leading by three in the final seconds, a poorly-timed foul by Jordan Walsh sent Cade Cunningham to the line with a chance to tie, but the Pistons All-Star missed the last one, securing the win for the Cโ€™s and ending Detroitโ€™s 13-game win streak. Later, Abby Chin catches up with Derrick White in an exclusive 1-on-1 interview after the game.

  1. Yeah. That last foul call was horrendous. Refs trying but losing. Walsh had the ball. It wasnโ€™t a foul.

  2. Congrats Celtics fans. I wanted this game for you guys bad. Can't stand Pistons. And that last foul call on Cunningham was a bunch of BS. That did not look like he was in shooting motion "To Me".

  3. I used to complain about he Celtics reliance on the 3 point shot. Not tonight, with the Piston stifling defense, the 3s and distant 2s are what saved them.

  4. Great impressive and unexpected and hard fought win but now comes back to back and Knicks! Emirates cup games are even less predictable than regular NBA games!

  5. Walsh is really turning into a great role player. Canโ€™t wait for Tatum to get back. He will make everyone better too. Remember how good Queta looked with Tatum.

  6. Giving Derrick White more credit for this win than Jaylen Brown is insane Celtics media really needs to stop this nonsense. White has been terrible this season yet the Celtics still have a winning record because of Jaylen Brown.
