Why not play him against LA? AD is washed up. He already has no trade value. Luka was literally given away for nothing. Accept it. Move on. Nobody is giving the Mavs anything in a trade no matter what AD does this year. It's almost like saying that the Pelicans can get something for Zion. Not happening.

Hell, no the Mavs should take a page out of the pelicans book pay him and sit him Anthony Davis is not our future. He needs to sit if he’s healthy so we can trade him away. He’s just gonna get hurt again.
Huge mistake. Get healthy then come back and have a couple great games and then GET RID OF HIM before Mr. Glass shatters bending over to tie his shoe laces. There is no good reason to come back now, none. It's not gonna make fans forget the worst trade in organized sports history..

why would they trade anthony davis? why are you guys so sure that is the right move? if you would get a big package back – sure – but if that’s not the case, he is a great player to have. when kyrie comes back you’ll have kyrie, ad, cooper flagg, pj washington, naji marshall, pj washington, derrick lively. that is a lot of talent. klay will play better ideally with kyrie and ad back – but if not you can try to trade him (good luck).you’ll need to make some trades for some more shooting to space the floor with flagg. you’ll have to consider having more lineups with AD at the 5 and maybe trading derrick lively. but i don’t understand how you guys completely are so sure to trade anthony davis when you guys also think you won’t get much for him LOL. you guys remind me of nico harrison ❤️

Real talk, if AD played in some of these games where we lost by 1-2 shots, we’d be winning those. Lately I’ve been thinking if AD comes back and Mavs go on a 5 game winning streak, we’re close to .500. Then Kyrie. There’s a small amount of hope.

He shouldn't play against the Lakers. The risks are higher than the rewards. He only just practiced and is still rusty. This a high-profile game against the 2nd best team in the West and he doesn't need to be exposed. Furthermore, it means he needs to play against the next string of opponents who are STRONG teams with All-Star level big men (LAC, DEN, MIA, OKC, HOU, DET) or else it would mean that he cannot stay on the floor.
Let him practice and get in shape. Let him play some G-League games. He can return in DEC 23 against a worse team in NOH at road (a no pressure game which no one will watch), then skip the DEN and GSW games citing load management (though we just don't want him matched up with Joker and a quick GSW team). Finally play the next 3 game against below 500 teams (SAC, POR, PHI).

You got to understand the human factor since the trade, he’s been an after thought all we’ve heard is how much of a mistake it is to trade Luka. Now he has a chance to return to LA and stick it to the Lakers of course he’s going to take. My only worry is him going full tilt like the Rockets game and hurting himself
