REFEREES COOKING GAMES BUT STILL LOST TO THE CELTICS WITHOUT JT.
Winning hurts us right now, that's just the reality. At this rate we'll be drafting 23rd… look how we missed out on Thomas Sorber last draft.
How can anyone say that Brown had a good game when he had to take 30+ shots to score 30 points
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.
And is it ever! Whatta game. Whatta win. Needed a bit of luck at the end, but that'sa really good team we went tit for tat with. I'm stunned!, and when you consider we didn't have Queta! Wow. It'sa road, getaway game before a holiday for the Pistons but still. They have been mowing teams down! If we played this team nine more times I'm not sure we could beat them again, but who cares! We won this one.
On offense the Pistons worked hard, set hard screens to get the match-ups they wanted and got them and they still couldn't beat us. Great, gritty win for the Green. Our best game of tye year.
Hey, stat monkeys, listen up: Tonight's game is a prime example of how individual's stats are just about worthless. We won tonight because we held Cunningham in check. What!, you say, he got 38 (or whatever) points, he had a great game. No, we defended him well. He consistently got the match-ups he wanted and whoever was on him did a good job. When we blitzed we did it well; when we pressed we did it well; when we tried to speed him up more often than not we did. Our defense on him is what won us this game, however many points he ended up with.
Not a good game for DW haters.
Not a good game for PP haters.
Not a good game for Simonistas. It's playing Russian roulette keeping on the floor when he's scoring. When he isn't he is the mother of all liabilities. Admit it, yee Simonistas, if you didn't know who he was or his history and you saw him play for the first time today you'd be asking yourself why this guy was in the league. He was that inept.
My thanks to Coach Bick for keeping Duren on the bench most of the second half, The Cs couldn't have won otherwise.
My thanks to Coach Maz for keeping AS on the bench most of the game. This is precisely the kind of game when he collapses into rubble. He far from unstoppable, and when he is shut down he's a real negative.
Xmas wish list: keep Amari Williams on the team and playing regularly. He got his backside handed to him today, but that's part of the maturation process. He can pass/playmake a bit and kinda-sorta protect the rim. Garza is never going to be more than a back-up if that. Queta n Williams are our two best centers–play them.
Play Hugo more or send him to Maine .

Why don't you buy one (hard hat)
😉
What s sure about JB is he really went at it from the start and maybe that s the reason why it wore on him.
am i the only one who thinks bobby and noa would make cute couple? their flirting and innuendos during this show kinda made me blush and get giddy about y'all! i see a connection and a spark there! anyway great show and phenomenal W for the C's.
Ballsy win. Stopping a team on a double-digit winning streak is no small feat.
