  1. No Ja and Jaren, no point guards, 41 point win and franchise record in assists. This was a SYSTEM win!
This is what I've been talking about, the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.
Also, don't you dare minimize Jock's performance tonight. 15 minutes, 21 points, 8/9 shooting!

  2. This win means absolutely nothing. we beat a team that is nothing less then a joke. Back to reality when we play Denver Sunday. This team is sub par and nothing will change until health and chemistry shows us what we really are.. not much if at all to take from this one. CC is continuing to play well! other then that not impressed.

  3. Yep, very sad Jo, criticize Jock Landale when he plays bad and criticize him when he plays well, great balance. He is now in the right position coming off the bench for short hard bursts.

  4. My observation of this recent win and team involvement. If i was the GM I woukd do some serious soul searching after this win. Without the stars this team played a more fluid and disciplined game for 48 minutes. Every guy played for the name on the front of the jersey and there were no egos.
After this game there will be no major changes and if Triple J or Morant plays, the team will go back to doing the Electric Slide again. I like both of their stars but this offense is not suited for their style of play. This offense operates on cutting and ball movement. Not players being stagnate around the 3pt line ball watching. When the stars are in, it makes the offense very predictable and the defenses arent even caring about defending the guys because the players dont move so they focus on playing passing lanes.
This was Lisalo's dream, to coach a team with no stars to suck up the offense. Next game he'll probably beg them to stay home and nurse their injuries so he can have fun again. Nuff said

  5. Why the hate for landale he is not a starter forced into it now his the back up doing a good job u jealous of his hair lol

  6. The cycle continues… they look awful against the good teams and then they dominate the bad teams.

  7. No Ja, no Jaren and this team looked completely different. All it takes is effort and execution to get results. These group of guys last night brought energy and effort. Everybody bought in last night.

  8. My question is does this game show us that Ja and Jaren are not adapting to Iisalo’s system and the rest of the guys get it?

  9. As I watched the game , I was just glad that the bench could get some good minutes and test the chemistry with the starters who were available. That also goes a long way when you get on the court with the better teams, you will need all the help you can get even with Ja and Trip back.

  10. I absolutely feel that Edey has been the most impactful. I feel that we lost the game against Cleveland and San Antonio because Edey wasn't played enough minutes. I can clearly see the difference in shot opportunities we have when Edey is on.the floor

  11. Might be a hot take, but I think that Jaren hurts this team more than he helps. His constant inconsistency turnovers his inability to move the basketball all hurt this team so much. The energy of this game without him was levels higher than when he’s on the floor.

  12. Winning by 41 against any NBA team without your max contract and nearly max contract player should be a wake up call for both players

  13. It’s conditioning, ja and Jaren don’t condition. The young guys are hungry! They run and work hard, that’s it! Ja is a baby! Always crying and whining. Jaren is great, just totally unconditioned.

  14. If you have all the pieces to the puzzle you can see the picture clearly, but unfortunately injuries have hidden this picture for us to see. We have to reserve our absolute full opinion of what this puzzle picture really is.

  15. Joe do you genuinely believe that Edey didn’t have a drop step until he got to the pros and Marcus Smart???? Dog he literally scored 10 points a game for 2 years on drop steps at Purdue…disrespectful…

  16. It’s the kings so let’s take it easy but it was a W. Not sold on the rotations and Ja and Jaren rn. But those guys tried hard last night and it showed

  17. They got rid of the pnr and didnt post up but it was definitely Edey's fault that he didn't play big.

Also Wemby is at a significant disadvantage against Edey because Edey is 60 lbs heavier.
