  1. PS very classy on and off court. He was a great development and played above value first contract and a good part of Chip. He was rewarded with a large contract and started very well then totally crashed out during bubble and then Tampa bad again and below value, When it came to next contract he wanted 5 years $50-60 mil which is way out value him when his last contract was an over pay. I think if he offered to play for 4 years $ 180 mil he likely would be here but wanted full max and as you have said maybe 20-30. I would say top 40 and top 50 during his previous contract. This lead to MU “selfish” comment.
BI is better if healthy. PS better because he has been healthy.

  2. PS all time raptor lineup IMO. Played a huge role in our chip season. I'd take him over bosh any day. And then, his trade allowed us to transition nicely into the Barnes/Ingram era, which is already a lot more than what we got from Khawhi, VC, T.mac, FVV, etc.

  3. Of course Ingram is the better scorer. He’s also younger. I believe they are equal defenders. But I’ve never seen pascal defend the rim like Ingram can

  4. I don't understand why you don't get more views than some of the less objective Raptors YouTube analysts and personalities. You have the deepest dives on the Raps bar none

  5. Is it a case of nice guys…. ? Siakam"s character allows shitty teams to look like they still have a team by always trying hard despite being the only star (mostly)
    .

  6. Siakam may not be the "Number 1" or franchise player, but all 30 teams would love to have him. his skillset just covers so much on offense and defense. ultimate plug and play player in the right system.

  7. First off, I wanna say I've been I watching your videos for a while now and I am loving the coverage so keep it up. About the Ingram vs Siakam fit on the Raptors, I think they did the right move trading Siakam and trading for Ingram but mainly because of age. Ingram is younger then Siakam so he fits the timeline for this iteration better of this Raptors team.

Ingram I've been fan of his since his Lakers days and although he's better pure bucket getter then Siakam but I think your selling Siakam short as a scorer. He too can make midrange shots and developed that part of his game along with his ballhandling in his last few years with the Raptors. I like the fact you brought the heavy minutes load stuff when Nurse was coaching the team and played Pascal and rest of the starters heavy minutes and that made Pascal fizzle out in a lot of 4th quarters. I think that's that why he mainly struggled in crunch time. Also what's funny just before he got traded in 23-24, he was the most efficient scorer for the Raptors in crunch time for the team shooting around 55% field in clutch time situations. I think his performance in the bubble and in Tampa did a number on some of the Raptors fanbase and he couldn't shake that reputation

His defense suffered his last few years yes with the Raptors because he had to carry a heavier load on offense, but with the Pacers he's shown he can be elite. Last regular season the Pacers I believe were around 12 points worse on defense with Siakam off the court and in the playoffs he was even better. He guarded guys Giannis, KAT and even Shai at times at the POA and was really effective. His rim protection was crucial for them in certain situations and his off ball defense was great.

With Ingram I think shot for shot he can go toe to toe with the league's Top Players on any given night and can be the best player on the floor at times. His defense as gotten better during the 9 game win streak and he's uses his length well on to contest shots and making some surprising blocks. I don't think we've gotten the best Ingram yet tho and I think Peak Ingram is soon to come. His decision making can be a bit better and he can cut down the turnovers a little and show more playmaking chops like he did with the Pelicans. Overall I think Siakam is still the better player but Ingram is better fit for this version of this team.

Sorry this was long winded comment from me. I feel like I wrote a whole dissertation rather than a simple comment lol so Julian if you read this thanks man. Go Raptors and I hope they keep building on this win streak

  8. Thanks for the Siakam/Ingram side-by-side comparison. Very interesting how similar are they are. Like others, I think it’s Ingram’s time now… he fits in with the Raptors so well. He will be the superstar to push the team into the playoffs.

  9. I love Pascal but Ingram fits the team better. Pascal is more at the rim and clogs the middle for guys and Ingram is better further out which the raptors sorely needed. Ingram is also much better in the clutch due to his unblockable shot.
