I will say this dude never lived outside China and now moving to the US is a hugeeeee shock that he was probably not ready for. Dude is still so young and was always a bit of a longer term project. I think they have Clingan so they don't need to rush Yang, but they should either let him play in the NBA real minutes or G league so he can get used to stuff
The arrest of Billups definitely affected the development of Yang Hansen. Splitter had no preparation for developing Yang Hansen at all. When he took over as the head coach of the team, he was well aware of Yang Hansen's technical characteristics, but this was somewhat at odds with the team's playing style as he perceived it. Currently, with a large amount of playing time being given to two-way contract players, Yang Hansen's playing time is pitifully small. I hope Yang Hansen can work harder than ever and seize every opportunity.

Remember on draft day Rich Paul had to run to the upper decks just to bring him down to get drafted he was sitting up there with the second rounders..
