Refs were allowing the Spurs to be very rough with Jokic. Vegas had the squeeze on.
Without Wemby or Steph, Spurs donāt have the targets on their backs and can fly under radar. Their depth will surprise teams and ensure a playoff spot

Letās be real Fox looked like he had a bad game, but he was getting hedged to stop him and the nuggets thought āI will just let Vassell shootā ā¦ well this is what happens when you do that! If we can force other teams to be honest, itās pick your poison! Some days itās Barnes, some days itās Champagnie. If we could just get some shooting out of Castle and Sochan I donāt think other teams could beat us! Great three by Kelly. Letās just also say what a difference maker Luke is for this team! I canāt wait for them to play OKC! I think we can beat them if the refs donāt get in the way. Speaking of refs, another stupid Lakers game coming up, man I hate the whistle vs the Lakers! Great shooting and getting to the rim so you can get them damn free throws. Still pissed about some slow rotations, not being on the same page, and holy hell the boxing out. Shouldnāt we be used to the up/down approach of fans in general? Itās either hide until or I told you so after the bounce back. I do think the expectations of Devin are legit. Criticisms no. But 1) heās been around a while now 2) consistently allowed to play through the dips 3) has all the tools to get going if the shot isnāt falling. Other players have been sent packing for less.

Wemby is such a unique player, and those who play around him have to adapt their game to play with him. I hope that time will allow our Spurs to continue to make the team much better with Wemby than withour him; for a long time.
