I dont know how you could watch the game tonight and as a professional nba coach look at me with a straight face and tell me giannis played well tonight
as a head coach you cant just let him get away with the complete emotional breakdown after the first quarter that i just witnessed
make him take accountability youre the head coach tell him we needed his effort on the glass we needed him not to settle for middies on the mismatch we needed him not to randomly reach in foul whenever he got fustrated we needed him to actually reach his arms out towards the entry pass and not let bilal steal it and we needed more aggression driving to the rim like the first quarter to open up our drive and kick game
these are things that are essential to who we are on offense and as a coach it is your job to maximise the talent on our roster i know coach bud wouldnt be afraid to tell giannis these things
there is more to basketball than just stats and teach myles turner that he needs to box out and let our guards and other guys secure boards cause we dont even run in transition off a miss anyway

We've never had a good coach, none of the bigs except sims actually play like a big should, Giannis needs to lock in and try to be a traditional center now that he has 4 other scorers around him, he needs to become a D and rebounding player who scores much less

You were frustrated about rebounding but continued to leave Myles Turner in the game while BAGLEY ate him up all night. Sims had 7 rebounds in 18 minutes compared to Turner 3 rebounds in 26 minutes.
There was no reason to put Myles back in the game at the end. Sims was doing just fine smh

I think they need to stop playing Simms. That flagrant was complete BS, especially when Vuicic clearly was lowering his shoulder into Simms it just didn't go his way. Flagrant on a box out, WTF? I like him as a player but we get killed on offense when he's in the game because we're essentially playing 4 on 5. Giannis seemed low energy this game, maybe he's still injured, but the team defense was atrocious. I get having Sims in the game when no one makes an effort to rebound the ball unless it comes exactly to them, and no one boxes out so the teams are just as good to miss the shot and follow it for the easy put back. You could make that a game plan against the Bucks. This is rock bottom, losing to the Wizards, blowing a 16 point lead. We have to stick with what we have. I don't know if a team has ever shot this good and been this bad. 1st in 3 pt percentage, 3r in fg percentage, 3rd in 3s made, 5th in shooting efficiency, but rank 26th in fg attempts per game, due in part to ranking 2nd from last in rebounding. Doc plays Jerricho to grab rebounds, and that make sense but it also forces us to play 4 on 5 on offense, which not only leads bad shots, but also leads to turnovers. It seems in part like a lack of effort when you watch the games. Balls goes off the rim nobody makes an effort. If not a shot clock or an offensive foul, every successful defensive possession ends with a rebound. Shoot 55% from the field, and 55% from 3 and lose the game. I mean the good thing is, if the Bucks can figure out a way to get as many shots as their opponents they should be able to beat everybody. Defense, Rebounds, and Turnovers. Bucks had 84 shots to the Wizards 102 shots. Doesn't matter how well you shoot when you give the other team 18 more shots. Didn't like Giannis trying to flex on Middleton in a key moment, should have moved the ball to get a better look on the most important possession of the game.
