Rockets were up 3-2 when CP3 went down in the WCF, so it wasn’t impossible.This OKC team would much up very well with that GSW because they have great perimeter defenders that would run and switch well with the GSW. Plus that team had a lot of turn overs , which OKC likes and produces and capitalize on it a lot. It would be a great much up. But that GSW was also good on defense. I would peak GSW in 7

The 2017 Warriors were feared because of their offense. The Thunder today are feared for their DEFENSE. You would pit a historically great offense versus a historically great defense. You can not say one would dominate the other so you have to look at the details. The thing OKC has over the prime Warriors is their depth. The Thunder plug and play 12-deep. So which bench you got if comparing Iguodala, Livingston, and McGee on the dubs versus Wiggins, Joe, Caruso, Wallace, Mitchell, K-rich, and J-Will? The other question: Who's guarding SGA? Who is guarding Chet and I-Hart from that small-ball 2017 team??? Curry was a liability on D. My point: IT WOULD BE CLOSE. Head to head, it would be a 7-game series.

The 2017 Cavs had issues. Obviously, Kyrie Irving left the following season. So they weren’t as competitive as they should have been.
