I like the idea of the Nets making a play to offload picks for AD because it’s the most nets thing ever. Detroit has enough defence for Zach Lavine ro be a really good 2nd or 3rd option with Cade, Ausar and Duren but also I can see Washington blowing their wad on a star so they stop struggling to win more than 35 games
Zach lavine can absolutely contribute to winning basketball. The main problem is he gets paid waaaay to much to not be the best player on a team. If he is the best player on a team. That's a real problem, because he's not an outstanding defender and he's not an outstanding playmaker. If he would be in a kyrie situation I think he could thrive. The problem is 48 million for kyrie would already be tough and Kyrie is already better as that trope than him.
So if he wants to be on a winning basketball team, he should not opt into his player options and sign as a free-agent. The problem for him is that for that to work he probably needs to go under his value. I think he could/should be worth 33 but he could sign for 25.

I dont see a scenario where hes gonna be a useful player. If they can find a succer to give them anything valuable back they should jump on it.. Kings trio is either bad or on bad contracts, dont see any of those guys bringing back any asset.. unless someone gets desperate.. dont forget those guys were always hard to trade and they didnt up their value this year. Nobody wants LaVine
Kings offer Monk or Schroeder and Derozan and 2 1st round picks for Lamelo. Kings become significantly better with Lamelo and Hornets move in a different direction with assets and returning player/Veteran who can be bought out or traded again.
