  1. Raptors need to fix this before RJ comes back because the current roster are not adhering to next man up philosophy.

  2. Good thing I’m watching this over lunch – all these “meat on bones” references added to my appetite 😅 great episode as usual 👍🏾

  3. I’m so glad people are starting to realize the importance of RJ’s scoring, and just how fragile this team’s offense is. When guys are swinging the ball around all expecting the next guy to create an advantage, it doesn’t look like NBA basketball.

  4. I agree…winning culture does matter…and the draft is no guarantee you will succeed but winning players will bring the culture.

  5. Each of the top 3 players have their own speciality. If one is out, it will affect the team. We also need a back up center. Not having a center on Sunday really hurt us. Teams now know if they double and triple team BI; that's 20 plus points that will be in jeopardy. Adjustments need to be made.

  6. They need a backup big that can rebound and defend the rim. They would have a few more wins now if they did. Doesn't have to be a superstar. CMB and Mamu are small ball 5's and cant bang with the 7 footers. Then a consolidation trade of the bench players (supplemented with draft pics) to add another good 6th man and you're cooking with fire.

  7. Waiting to see what Bobby can do to tweak the team around the edges. We're not ready to win a championship, so I'm not expecting a star addition or big consolidation trade, but shoring up long-standing weaknesses with some close-to-prime reserve talent would give us a truer indication of the core's ceiling (and show the remaining young ones what they need to become).

  8. Without rj and scottie being the only CONSISTENT weapon , defenses are content with swarming bi and either forcing him to give it up or shoot over contested defense all game. Like , even scottie said that guy's have to help bi by being better outlets. He's getting doubled all the way to the 3 pt line now. Guys also are missing a LOT of easy open looks way too often.

  9. I’m happy that Raptors republic recognizes RJ is important for this team. Unlike some other “raptors’s analyst”. RJ is not a perfect player and there can be improvements for sure. He’s not being paid like a max contract guy, why is everyone expecting a perfect 20 5 5 TWO way player like Kawhi?

  10. RJ will be back and perform – no issues there; my concern is Poetl load management. Raptors need a backup 7 ft Center for Jak – who can be relied upon, for Raps to do well this season.
