The Denver Nuggets are Destroying ANOTHER GOAT Season by Nikola Jokic

Jamal Murray was unable to finish last night’s game, a home loss to the lowly Dallas Mavericks. If he misses extended time, that would mean the Nuggets are without their top 3 non-Jokic players on a team with a shallow bench. Another historical, all-time season by Jokic going to complete waste due to this team’s inability to perform beside him.

  1. If Murray wasn’t an all-star the season they won the title, fo sho is not gonna be voted this season – other than manipulate the narrative for another SGA MVP

  2. Well Markonnen is definitely in the all-star, cos they’re doing the US vs World
But yes I imagine Murray is still out, the 8 in the World team will be: Jokic, Luka, Markonen, Giannis, Atvia, SGA, Wemby, Sengun

  3. Don't want to hear you clowns saying the nuggets can beat okc anymore šŸ˜‚ okc are lightyears away from these bums!

  4. Jokić has become the enabler of his soft-ass teammates and many of the fans. Everyone is too comfortable making their success a one-man show. He dropped a 29-20-13 triple double against Dallas with 2 steals and 1 block, and the comment sections still filled up with people blaming Jokic instead of Murray's lackadaisical 10 points before "getting hurt". The better that Jokic becomes, the less that his team works to help.

It's so tiring watching Denver lean all of their hopes on their top star instead of committing to rising to meet him. Everyone on a team has to fight to be the best if you want championships, and the veteran Nuggets, especially Murray, are far too comfortable with going along for the ride.

If Nikola Jokic determined tomorrow that he had enough money for his family, and was going to retire from the NBA to move back to Serbia and play the rest of his career in the Euroleage for smaller paychecks but better competitive spirit, I would applaud him for it. The Nuggets don't deserve him, and neither does the NBA.

  5. Its still early. The talk should be about everyone getting more PT. Watson is playing like a mad man. Cam found his shot. Im not worried.

  6. ADELMAN needs to go. The man is an awful coach, every loss came in the clutch and the Nuggets have for years under Malone been known for their clutch success. It’s horrible. They’re not going anywhere as long as Adelman is heading this ship like a motionless cheerleader. Someone more experienced could easily make this team as good as OKC, coz the potential is there. But when injuries r something u can’t control and coaching staff is, u need a better coaching staff, period

  7. Nikola Jokic deserve normal team, Nuggets are terrible when some players are injured… Nikola, go to some normal team ,with good teammates, this is such a waste of greatest talent in basketball today! Adelman is worst coach in history of NBA! #Nikola_Jokic go to another team and save your career! @NikolaJokic #NikolaJokic

  8. Dude acts like the nugs organization can just snap their fingers and instantly 4 superstars will appear next to jokic. There is a salary cap to contend with (well for everyone except the clippers) that he isnt mentioning. Its easy to point fingers at Murray but lets hear you talk about the exact moves they should have made over the past few years instead of just calling out injuries. Who should they have traded Murray for specifically? Its easy to complain, it aint that easy to fix.

  9. He's playing style suggest that he could play, at this level, 6-7 years but i think he'll not play that long. Nuggets wasting his career like Lions wasted Barry Sanders.

  10. Cam Johnson needs to play in his Brooklyn form, that would help tremendously. Hes been very underwhelming this season with more floor spacing and less attention then he had in BKY.

  11. Skap making excuses for Jokic again. Let's name the teams that fans think are being run well. hmmm. The Thunder. End of list. I wonder why? hmmmm. 20-1, duh. So 29 teams don't know what they are doing according to fans but at least 12 get straight into the playoffs. The Nuggets are currently slotted as one of those 12. Unlike my Bulls nor my favorite Chef's team, the Warriors. But somehow the Nuggets are doing Jokic a disservice for the third straight season at least according to Skap. Giannis needs to leave to go to one of those 28 terribly run teams as if that changes anything but ruin his legacy. Never forget that Skap excuses Hakeem because he loyally stayed with a poorly run Rockets team. If Skap is genuine about his Hakeem position then No star needs to get a new team. As he will reward them regardless of team success.

  12. I don't blame the billionaire owners of Denver, they overpaid two injury prone players in Jamal and MPJ which cost them course of hundreds BUT they don't want to lose dollars because they have billions they would rather lose some basketball games, they let Westbrook go even though he would cost them only 4mil and Brodi might not be player fot playoffs but for regular season he's one of the best.
Jokicis to blame for saying he will never leave Denver because if he doesn't care about his career why would anyone else, some idiots will say CENTER IS ANCHOR OF DEFENCE THIS AND THAT but jet they doesn't know the name of 6 TIME NBA CHAMPIONS CHICAGO BULLS CENTER actually no one even remember him.
Last night at 6:48 till the end of the game Jokic scored 3pts for 117 and 5min and 22sec at 1:26 till the end of the game Nuggets were still at 117 so for almost half of the quarter they didn't score a single point.
Denver Nuggets needs to change tactics and go for 9 ot 10th place with saving Jokic,Jamal,AG and CB so they can beat OKC in the first round, if these 4 aren't at 100% they don't have a chance

  13. C’mon Skap more passes for the Joker??? You take an absolute hammer and anvil to Le Bron’s entire career but when it comes to Nikola Jokic it’s not enough help (sounds familiar), bench sucks or teammate injuries… all I hear is excuses, excuses, excuses!!!

Denver have let Sacramento, Chicago and now Dallas steal wins on their home floor this season giving up 128, 130 and 131… Nikola statistically brilliant, offence genius, advanced metrics through the roof, not translating to easy wins… hhhmmmm what could be missing??? I won’t be bold enough to say ā€˜defence wins championships’ but maybe some level of hustle, heart, grit and determination on the defensive end may be required… this effort starts and ends with the team leader and so-called MVP candidate…

At the moment all I see from you is an extreme case of sycophantitis and from Nikola Jokic is a whole lot of pretty looking arrrssss!!!

  14. I akin it to Barry Sanders, although his teams didn't get hurt, they just sucked. But Nikola's carry job may have been even greater than Barry's b/c he at least wins sometimes.

  15. I remember during the offseason where pundits were all ga-ga because Denver upped their roster by trading away some high end contract. Then the injuries hit and look where we are now.

  16. But Skap you said Nuggets were winning the title? When he put that video out I told y'all he would be whining about Jokic's teammates weeks into the season. Its too funny.

  17. I couldn't F#%^@!!! believe they lost to Dallas. 🤬 Jokic needs to leave & find an organization that wants to win.

  18. Ok, but are they supposed to do? They did a good job in the offseason. Yes, Gordon gets injured a lot, but with Braun it's a matter of being unlucky. Murray is better prepared than last season (ok, that wasn't hard to do), and a sprained ankle is a matter of being unlucky again

  19. I’ve rooted for the Nuggets since they were the Rockets. I’ve been a dedicated fan. The ownership of this team is so tight, they have a rookie coach and they split the gm position into two inexperienced guys.
Stanley is worth $19 billion. His wife (Walmart heir) is worth about $10 billion. But, they refuse to part with cash! Booth had no business running a team. The two previous gm’s were easily lured away with cash. They’ll pay 3-4 premium contracts, then gather up the cheapest players available. Here’s the real deal. Stanley can run his team into the ground and be the worst in the nba, and he will still make BILLION$ in profit, when he sells.
I hate the Lakers, but I’m gradually leaning to hoping Jokic goes there. Luka is already there, LB should just go away, and the Lakers will give Jokic WHATEVER he needs, and willingly pay for it. We will never see Jokic reach his full potential in a Nuggets uniform. I’d like to see him be able to freak out the world even more with his insane skills. I’m done with the nuggets, just as soon as Jokic moves on, for any reason. He should demand a trade, which kinda breaks my heart, but the Nuggets suck!šŸ™ƒ

  20. Hey Skap I know you are not really covering Rockets rght now but I would love to hear your thoughts on Rockets

  21. Excuses excuses excuses. Where is this energy for LeBron’s first stint in Cleveland? Y’all want everyone to be loyal but you make exceptions for players you like. Hypocrisy at its finest

  22. they need to trade him or trade jamal while he still has value that is not fair that they can not find someone for him, also how did carmelo anthony get better teams? chauncey and allen iverson……
