This loss was on Coach Quinn by playing Wallace down the stretch and Hawks got killed on the boards. I thought Nikiel Alexander was the spark in the 4th with clutch baskets
banged up hawks ran out of gas at the end. good effort. if you're playing this well while undermanned and exhausted it bodes well for the rest of the season.

Before I listen to your pod Brad…That loss is totally on Quin….! That shit show line-up he had out there to close that 3rd quarter…you just knew was going to pump life into the Pistons…and to top it off….Keaton Wallace was in that CLOSING LINE-UP for almost the last 7 minutes!!! So now…KW out of nowhere gets the closing nod???? The Hawks need rebounding…I've been saying it now for a while. JJ should ABSOLUTELY be our starting SF! Zacch needs to get a lot stronger and to develop a better o0ffensive arsenal. All he does is stand out there and shoot 3's. He's only 20…so he has time on his side. NO WAY he should be starting! Quin does not utilize the personnel he has when it comes to rotations and minute distributions! The Hawks have a REAL opportunity this year to get to the FINALS because this really is the year of the GETTABLE EAST! NOT happy with our coach and his important game changing decisions. SORRY!!! That's why fingers cro0ssed ONSI will bring in a STUD at the trasde deadline because he knows he has the assets! Brad respectfully disagree with you saying you would have gone with Zacch at the end instead of KW. I would have chosen MO instead of Zacch! You have to get in the mindset that JJ at the 3/SF!!! is where it needs to be! Up front with OO and MO with NAW and Dyson in the backcourt! Especially in a game where we got torched on the boards! Luke is abetter player than Zacch in that 5 man line-up as well because he is a real space provider and playmaker. Zacch should not be starting until he bulks up and adds some variety mto hios game. He does not have the offensivevariety right now and strength/rebounding to be a starting SF on a very good..wanna be threat in the EAST! He's only 20..he has time to develop!

Hawks fans remember…that Pelicans unprotected pick has GREAT POTENTIAL VALUE…in a blockbuster trade! The truth is…it's a better trade chip pre lottery than it will likely(post lottery) turn out to be! MUCH greater odds we pick in that 7-9 spot than it becomes a top 3 pick! I wanna win NOW!!! We're getting so unlucky with the schedule lol. They also have to rebound, and you're completely right about those Keaton Wallace minutes.
Luke needs to shoot the damn ball. He looks so afraid out there. Also our rebounding is HUGE problem and when Trae comes back that’s only gonna get worse.
I’ll say it again. Trade Trae for Sabonis. He’s one of if not the best defensive rebounder in the league. He would also help with playmaking. He’s also not a guy who takes a tone of shots so he would match up well with Porzingis and Jalen. Or you could even include Porzingis in the trade and get back another Guard or picks
Does Risacher have a min restriction?
I feel like that 23 turnovers and 5/26 from 3P range stat paints this loss in too negative a light without proper context. Both teams realized at a certain point that the referees were just not going to call fouls and thus both teams starting hand checking or hacking to their hearts' content. It's not as though we missed an opportunity to capitalize on a poor offensive effort by the Pistons, the game was refereed in a way that was going to result in terrible shooting and terrible offense for both teams.
I love that the team made a clear adjustment to up the physicality and match the Pistons when it became clear that was going to be required given the officiating. When Dyson is allowed to get away with Lu Dort and Dillon Brooks type bullshit, he is a complete game wrecker. This bodes well for them being able to flip the switch when it comes time to win a playoff series and the referees allow just about everything.
