The fact that Mobley has so many missed free throws is very concerning to me. Once again, right now is not the time to hit that panic button because it’s early in the season. Everyone who is injured right now (Jarrett Allen, Sam Merrill, Max Strus, Craig Porter Jr.) WILL come back from their injuries, and everything will start clicking again as the season continues and as we get close to 2026.

Mobley is in a max deal that is guaranteed… he doesn't feel the need to fight for rebounds… or make foul shots
Dude has had 19 games to go off. Most without Garland and Strus. And with the entire City of Cleveland begging him to be selfish and aggressive. And there was not even one game where he managed to be the best offensive player on the court. Infact Jarret Allen (who does not even shoot 3s) has a higher season high this year. How about giving up and letting evan do his thing and focusing on Hunter stepping up. Lets see it he can have a 40 point game.

Evan doesn't need to be our best player. That next leap he needs to take would be being our second best player. Where did Jason get the idea that Evan Mobley has to be better than Donovan Mitchell to put us over?. Him being better than Donovan is super unrealistic, he's not even better than DG. Daruis Garland is our 2nd best player and that's our biggest problem. If Evan doesn't surpass DG we ain't even getting to the ECF.

Mobley is good but he's Myles Turner type good. The Cavs are expecting him to be Durant type good. That isn't going to happen. Let him be the lob getter and rim protector and occasional three point guy. He's never going to be "the man".
